Imagine being a frequent local customer to Perk Cafe who brings their friends, family, loved ones as well as clients & employees to only be approached while in a meeting that the area was for customers only without any additional information or conversation. No introduction, no conversation, no idea if we were waiting for additional guests or planned on grabbing something on our way out (which the latter was the actual case). The owner, approached us randomly with incredible hostility & aggression. No introduction, no clue who he was (at the time), he even came from a different area/business. I wonder why small businesses like these fail so often? Will not return, I hope you are able to find happiness in your life. (Tim, the owner, whom I had to inquire who this man was by asking an employee after.) A little advice for you, your business and your agency (with a 57% approval rating as CEO, your employees without a doubt are unhappy with you at the helm as per Glassdoor at your agency) customers, sorry *humans are not to be spoken AT. You are no more important than any...
Read moreHonestly, I don’t get the bad reviews at all. The atmosphere isn’t “cold” - it’s cool, modern, and updated. The coffee isn’t watered down - it’s made to order. Every time I’ve been here, the staff is nothing short but so kind, understanding, and genuine, which is rare during COVID times when everyone is so on edge. That being said, the latte I ordered was seriously one of the best I’ve had. I’m super picky with lattes and don’t even like Starbucks versions, but Perk? I’m 15 minutes away but think about driving over all the time. It’s definitely worth checking out, and they have little sitting areas to kill some time, work remotely outside on a nice day, and just see a friendly face. Thanks for existing, Perk! Now get on DoorDash so I can have a...
Read moreI’m complaining because the fact that this place allows their staff to run over management is crazy to me. This is my 19th year in the hospitality industry and I’ve worked in cooperations that only had one cook and one waitress and was on a wait every single night. Food generates money and for a girl to tell me that it would be too busy for her to make food but not busy enough to pay another person like babygirl HUSTLE!!! I am a waitress and bartender we have one man cooking food for an entire restaurant no busser no food runner and one or two waitresses & if a little coffee shop cannot handle making toast then that’s sad...
