Seniore's Pizza — Restaurant in Berkeley

I swung by Senior’s Pizza in Berkeley last weekend when a late-night craving hit me. I was starving, and honestly, just happy to find a place still open past midnight. I got some chicken wings and a pepperoni pizza to share with a friend, and it was… well, fine. The wings were crispy, which I appreciated, but the buffalo sauce was kinda meh—tasted like the usual stuff you’d find anywhere, not super bold or spicy. They weren’t drowning in grease, though, so that’s a win. The pizza was pretty much the same deal. The crust wasn’t too thick or thin, the cheese was decent, and the pepperoni did its job, but it wasn’t the kind of slice you’d rave about to your friends later. The vibe inside is super chill and unpretentious—just a small spot with a counter and a couple of worn-in tables. It’s not winning any awards for decor, but it felt cozy in that classic pizza-joint way Price-wise, it’s easy on the wallet.

The driver just asked me why I did not tip him. He suggested that ‘I should’ - ‘You should tip the driver you know!Even the manager said that’ I have been ordering from this place for Months and I had no problem before. This was probably my second time w/o tipping them after 18-20 other orders with very good tips. The previous drivers were very polite and we even tipped them with cash because of the excellent service.

Also, he asked me if I was an Indian 🧐🧐🧐 Said they seem to do this very often. Wow!!! Racist!!! Although I’m not an Indian, that is the worse thing you could say - especially when you are from the country itself.

This is humiliating. I understand that they expect some extra cash or some side money but this is very very rude.

I’m a student at UC Berkeley and I had the worst treatment anyone could have. Just cause I was sitting in a bench waiting for my order near the counter, then the hat-employee came and told me to leave like a rat, so I told him I am here waiting for my order it will take 10 min, cause I ordered chicken wings and fries, so is not big deal, so he left and sent somebody else, the other held me on my shoulder pulling me. I had made an order of $28 + $5 because the girl was the only friendly in the place, but after they kicked me out like a rat, I asked for my money back and left.
