If i could, I would give this place ZERO STARS. Massive cockroaches (so big they're practically a person), prison-like set up, dismall interior design and gross carpeting. Rooms get filled with bugs, there aren't screens on the windows so the flies get in and germinate and continually circle around in your room till they die at the end of the day and their eggs hatch the next day and turn into a fresh new set of flies that still circle your room. It's loud AS HELL at night in the weekends, and there's no air conditioning so if you're hot in the room, then you have to open your window but then that means you get all the noise from telegraph at night, close the window and its a little quieter but you're now uncomfortable with all the heat. The kitchen is fully equipped, but things get stolen so quick and it's not worth actually having a kitchen there. Don't live here. For the price, you can find something else that's much better. Don't settle for this if you can. Oh, and management is slow to respond and...

Employ a "Fiber Optic Ethernet" because their wireless speeds are unusable and fluctuate from slow to non-existent throughout the day. A recent change in management has done little to help with unreachable on-site staff during "listed" hours. I have never once talked to a non RA personnel and they are impossible to contact via E-mail for questions or concerns. I have had Mail lost on 4 separate occasions having it turn up because "they didn't know mail was stored there".
Outside of these issues, the place is Safe, Clean (Really skilled and kind cleaning people come through every day or so), centrally located, and great for someone willing to spend ~$1000 to have a bed to sleep in.
TL;DR Cons: Management, internet, Price, Size, & Mail Pros: Location, Safety,...
Read moreI was staying at telegraph commons for 3 months as a sublet this summer. The RA’s were sweet and helpful, bathrooms and common areas were all regularly cleaned and maintained.
However the place is at a very noisy intersection and I could literally hear shouts and screams every night from the streets. The common drinking water filter during my stay was broken and the water literally looked contaminated. The refrigerators in room also needs to be better maintained — I had to spend a couple hours (2 times in 3 months) cleaning all the ice that would constantly get stuck inside. Moreover I was fined for not leaving the room “deep cleaned like a professional” despite the fact I had vacuumed the place and that the RA saw the room before I handed her the keys and she didn’t say anything then.
Although the location is very close to the university making it very convenient to commute, my experience overall wasn’t...
