This place was our second choice. Tried to get lunch at a weird time on a Tuesday and everyone else was closed, including China Village, where we used to go often.

We were SO pleasantly surprised. First off, we had the place almost entirely to ourselves, as the photos show. Our server was super attentive and very accommodating, as we also had a child with us who is relatively picky. Noodles are her jam, but they must be without virtually all flavor.

We ordered a few dishes and had leftovers for several more meals - we are not adventurous Sichuan food eaters, but there are so many choices if you are. We got the chow mein, sweet and sour chicken, sautéed garlic green beans, mu shu veggies and the veggie spring rolls. All were incredibly delicious (sorry no pix, we were starving) and the portions were huge, as I said. Generous enough for at least 3 more lunches. The child loved the chow mein noodles, which was a huge win.

We actually can't wait to go back and dare I say it - this gem may have just replaced China Village for us! Next time I may try the sea cucumber.
