The ambience was absolutely perfect -spacious and ideal for group gatherings. Whether it's a casual hangout or a special celebration, this spot definitely sets the right mood. Now, let's talk food! We started with the Calamari and General Tso's Cauliflower-both were decent but didn't quite blow us away. For the main course, I went with the Fillet Mignon. While the flavour was okay, I was hoping for a bit more tenderness in the beef. Still, it was a satisfying dish overall. The highlight of the night? The *White Winter Cosmo* cocktail! It was refreshing, well-balanced, and definitely a win. If you're stopping by, this drink is a good option. Overall, a solid experience with great vibes and a few standout moments. Would love to hear your recommendations for next time!

3West is a New American restaurant in Basking Ridge, NJ that offers a seasonal menu of creative dishes made with fresh, local ingredients. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs prepare your food. The service is a bit slow but the staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. I had the pleasure of dining at 3West recently, and I was very impressed with the food. I started with the calamari, chicken meatballs as appetizer, which was cooked perfectly and served with a delicious chorizo vinaigrette. For my main course, I had the seared salmon, which were perfectly cooked and served with a creamy risotto and asparagus. For dessert, I had the chocolate lava cake, sorbet, which was rich and decadent.

This is a lovely restaurant with amazing food and a great atmosphere. With that said I was treated as a lesser when I walked in there due to me being 18. At least I hope. I saw my waiter 2 times. To collect my check and to give me a desert menu after I asked the host for one after waiting for what felt like a lifetime. Not only did I see the waiter twice but he had the audacity to check the tip I left only 5 feet from my table. I gave him 16% when all he deserved was five. Other than that, great food, good atmosphere, and nice hosts. Loved the Rhode Island Flounder.

To Ms. Donovan and her fantastic team (including Sebastian), I want to reach out and thank you for the tremendous job you did with my family last week at the 3 West Restaurant in Basking Ridge. It was my sister's wedding weekend and my family flocked to the area. I believe that during the weekend, different family groups went to your restaurant at different times. You had the Bride/Groom; the Bride's Family and later on extended family (uncles, grandmother, aunt etc). Everyone enjoyed their meals and the staff. I want to especially thank you as my mother has many allergies and it is often very difficult for her to feel at ease at restaurants. You personally coming to the table and assuring her that the restaurant was aware of her allergies and what the restaurant did to assist was amazing. You also made recommendations for food based on the odds of cross contamination which was so thoughtful. My family loved the meal and my mother felt at ease- which took a lot of pressure off myself and the Bride to be. I want to also thank waitstaff Sebastian for being extremely attentive. He also had knowledge of the menu and cross-contamination and was extremely helpful. We will of course be recommending the restaurant to our friends and colleagues and I am very curious to try other restaurant's in the Harvest Family such as the Roots Steakhouse and Trap Rock.Thank you again. It was a wonderful experience and you and your staff truly enhanced the...

The entire experience from start to finish was wonderful. First, our server Grant was the perfect mix of attentive and forthcoming with suggestions (all of which were spot on) without being overly solicitous.

The appetizers were good if pretty standard deep fried fare. The entrées though.... Several of us chose the NY strip steak at Grant's suggestion. It was literally one of the most tender strip steaks I've had. I ordered mine medium rare expecting something closer to medium based on past dining experiences, but these guys got it right. They used the correct amount of seasonings so as to enhance the flavor without overwhelming it. The steak was served over a dry bread and mushroom pudding which had an interesting texture and taste. Not bad, just unexpected.

The biggest hit of the evening was also a Grant suggestions, warm banana bread pudding with ice cream. It wasn't a huge serving, about the size that you would think two people would split. NOPE. The four of us could not finish it. It was so rich and buttery, combined with the ice cream and warm caramel, just a couple small bites was all it took to satisfy us. Of course that could also be because we had ordered a scoop of the blood orange sorbet, also extremely delicious.

So definitely try this place out. Expect to pay for the experience, but it's worth it. And ask for Grant,...

Update after our second visit on 4/19/2022........We went to 3 west to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. I called and asked for the table near the fire place. (I had a reservation that was made online) When we arrived we were early and went to have a drink at the bar, we let the hostess know we were at the bar relaxing. We were greeted with Champagne on the house for our anniversary at the bar. Upon going to our table, we were treated like royalty. We ordered, ate and enjoyed the atmosphere. When asked about dessert we chose to pass and just finish our drinks. The hostess came back to our table with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on a hand decorated plate saying "Happy Anniversary" with a candle in the middle. She said you have to enjoy something sweet on your anniversary. Hands down an amazing experience...
