I decided to give this place a second chance...... Next time I will definitely just go to a different Thai place. To save you time from reading the below. This place is extremely overpriced for the portions that are provided. There are many other Thai spots in this same area that are cheaper and provide more food. The first time I paid over 40$ for two items (pad see ew and fresh spring rolls) to be delivered to my work that is less than 2 min away. (I work events and there are times I cannot leave) Not only did I not get my food I was also told i could not get a refund because of the way their online ordering service works. Long story short I went the whole day without eating. Left to go to the restaurant where they then remade the food after I was told again I could not get a refund because they don't get the money from the ordering system but once a week. The second time I paid almost 30$ for an order of fresh spring rolls and a red curry. The red curry is a large portion. You would think with that you also get extra rice. Since you have to pay extra for the large portion. No. No extra rice for the larger portion. In fact the container is not even full. Not to mention you would think a large size would be the large soup container. But no. It's a small container of curry and small thing of rice. Overall very disappointed with this place.

This will be me and my husbands third time eating here. Their food is sooo good. I like that it is a family owned restaurant the owners are super sweet. The first two times I got the same thing shrimp and beef fried with no vegetables just egg because I’m picky about trying new things and not liking it. So this time around I read the reviews and seen a dish that looked yummy I wanted to try. I ordered the Chinese bbq and wow it was soooo good. Their bbq is different from what I’m used to eating. It had a healthy taste to me. My husband got the spicy curry chicken. He didn’t care for the vegetable soup. He wanted to order what he had last time but couldn’t remember what it was called but told me it had fried rice with it. Their price ain’t too expensive either. They remodeled inside cuz at first I thought I was in the wrong place but it looks so good. I love the update to the restaurant!!

Thai Kitchen is the best mom and pop restaurant. You get great value, authentic taste and real nice owners. Chinese bbq: this is my absolute favorite dish that they make. The mom only makes this every once in a while so make sure you call ahead and check if she has it available. If she has it though, get ready for a sweet and savory sauce with juicy pieces of dark meat. The flavor is soaked through as it’s oven baked in their kitchen. I make sure I order two. One for lunch and one for dinner. Thai style minced pork basil with fried egg: listen just get the fried egg added on. You won’t regret it with the basil explosion with every bite. Garlic beef: lots of garlic. Need I say more? Okay I will. The beef is tender and the brown sauce is great to mix in with your white rice. Don’t forget your Thai tea! Support this mom and pop Thompson lane staple!

LIT, FIRE, DELICIOUS ON GOD FAM. I almost want to leave a bad review to trick people into leaving this place alone, ITS AMAZING. If you want some delicious Thai food this is the only place you need. Set your expectations low so you can be blown away by this simple little spot. With the recent facelift the interior received it deserves far more love and attention. If there is a weak spot here it’s service, it’s not bad, but don’t expect anyone to be waiting on you hand and foot. You place your order, good food comes lightening fast and you’re left to enjoy in peace. If you need something you can easily get their attention.

Thai Kitchen has been a staple in my life for almost 10 years and they are consistently making me happy. They don’t hold back on portions and you can even just wing it with your order and see what they bring out. My go-to for 9 of those years was the “Spicy Tofu”.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. They’re so kind and welcoming to everyone who walks through the door.

I LOVE YOU...

Thai Kitchen is a true hidden gem with deep roots in the community. This place has been around for a long time, and for good reason—the food is absolutely amazing! Authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with love. As someone who lives in Thailand, I can confidently say this is the real deal. I was thrilled to get to speak with the owner and their daughter and hear about the history behind the restaurant—it was such a meaningful connection.

I genuinely believe in this place and want to see it grow and thrive in new ways. With a few modern updates and the right people in place, I know Thai Kitchen could step into a whole new level of excellence. The atmosphere and service have so much potential to match the high quality of their menu, and I’m excited to see them expand and continue the legacy they’ve built.

If you haven’t been in a while—go support them! This is the kind of place worth keeping around for...
