I normally don’t care to leave reviews for fast food places because, let’s be real - it’s fast food. It’s meant for convenience and you generally get what you pay for. But since this place has opened, it has been painfully slow, and almost every time I’ve gone, they’ve gotten something wrong. I wouldn’t even care so much if I’m just picking it up for myself, but I visit a relative that is at a nursing facility in town, and I’ll frequently bring them something to drink or a snack. They’ve gotten sandwiches wrong, would have not given me items if I hadn’t stopped to check the order before I left, or messed up something as simple as a cup of coffee. And this is happening when it’s both busy and slow. Again, I wouldn’t normally care to leave a review, but between work and my commute, it just happens that I have to stop here as there aren’t many other options in this small town. And others run into the same issues, as this town is kind of a “pit stop” for people with regularly long commutes between DC and Winchester or WV. Please work on efficiency and accuracy with the orders. My personal saving grace here is that for the most part, employees have been polite when I’ve approached them about...
Read moreself ordering is cool. And it's fast. I don't recommend ordering at the register. there are only 2 registers and there was only one in use today. good place if you want your food fast without hand-holding.
In the downside, they are not prompt enough cleaning off tables, and that leaves very few tables to choose from.
Update 2022. For mobile ordering, this place only has no parking spots marked "curb-side" and the McDonald's mobile app requires you to enter the number your parking spot labelled "curb side pickup" TIP: Use number from a drive-thru-waiting parking spot at this restaurant. If you did this at a typical McDonalds that has both type parking spots, you would obviously not get your food delivered. It's disrespectful that they make it customer's responsibility to circle the restaurant searching for the correct parking lanes in an attempt to satisfy McDonald's own instructions.
Waitress was entirely unapologetic, "To us they're the same thing" (the curb-side and drive-through-waiting slots). Yes, but customers can't know that without reading the markings on every parking...
Read moreThis is the brand new (June 2019) McDonald's in Berryville Virginia. It has been busy since the day it opened.
It's large, and very modern with the new "self order" stations, but you still have the option to order with a person if need be. The stations let you pay with all of the normal methods including "Samsung Pay" (Verified).
The staff are of course all new, so they are somewhat slow at the drive through, but they are getting better and everyone has been friendly. There is alot of space around the building which is great for pickups and other large vehicles to maneuver through. Considering this is a more rural /farm area, lots of pickups and suvs will come through.
There are 3 dedicated parking spots at the front of the building for "drive through waiting" and are clearly marked. There is not a ton parking, maybe 25 normal spaces, but this location is right across from a large Martin's parking lot.
Overall, this is your typical modern McDonald's with staff doing their best to get up to speed. I've yet to have a messed up order and am...
