Driving along W Roosevelt Rd enroute to Dwight D. Eisenhower Expressway at the time, I visited this McDonald's location because I had a craving for the Shamrock Shake, a seasonal shake sold during the month of March to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. I entered this location and ordered via their kiosk machine, which was pretty cool because I did not have to stand in line to order. If you have the patience for ordering on a kiosk machine, it is literally like skipping the line.
I ended up ordering a small Shamrock Shake w/ medium French Fries. Prior to submitting my payment, it was required to grab a number to place on the table which assisted the employee with locating me in the dining area. I must share that while paying, I was able to round-up and donate spare change to Ronald McDonald House Charities: a nonprofit family & children's charity dedicated to supporting families with sick children. Its house programs, located near top children's hospitals, allow parents who are far from home to stay close to their hospitalized child and benefit from the comforts of home without incurring hotel and food costs. Being able to support that alone makes me not regret giving in to self-indulgence of McDonald's which I must say happens twice a week at the least, tehehe.
My order was completed within a reasonable timeframe as I sat in the dining area enjoying the music being played like Michael Sembello - Maniac, and New Edition - Cool It Now. Since I had no other plans at the time, I dined in and further enjoyed Bobby Brown - My Prerogative. To think about it, I do not think I have ever heard music being played like this at a McDonald's, ever!
As for my order, the Shamrock Shake was far from green, just a tiny bit of green! However, the minty taste of it made up for its lack of green appearance, but that is okay because my panties are far from being in a bunch! Now, the French Fries did not appear, nor did they taste fresh at all, but they were satisfying given the fact that I was hungry after just finishing a workout.
As for returning, likely I will, if driving along W Roosevelt Rd enroute to Dwight D. Eisenhower Expressway again and I get just the slightest craving for either a Shake or French Fries.

Read moreI’d like to say I’m giving the manager of this store 5 stars! As far as everyone else they really deserve a zero! Too many employees with everyone except the manager doing nothing! Was told to pull into slot one to wait for food almost 20 mins later nothing! So I go in and they’ve had given the order to someone else! The manager is the one who came up front from off the line while everyone else was just standing around or running around like chickens with their heads cut off! I feel sorry for her because she has a crew of do nothings and was trying to do it all! My hats off to you Dominique! Get yourself a new crew love! You were very helpful and don’t deserve the nonsense! This is an update on 7/12/19 and OMG! I had to stop here because I have low blood sugar and it didn’t look busy so I figured I’d give it another chance! The girl working the register just couldn’t get it together! Rings me up for a frozen Coke and neglects to tell me it’s not working them also charges me for 2 large drinks which we didn’t order! Then didn’t refund me the money! I had to go back and request one! The one person in here that has it together is an older lady who works here! And to top it off the same person who screwed up everything to begin with yeah her! I saw her EATING OFF A TRAY!!! This is my last time here and someone higher up needs to get in here!!! What happened to standards that Hamburger U used to make these places have!!! UGH!!! This was also a different manager this time and he was great also but everyone else in here except for the older lady need to be retrained...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with this service here. Knowing today is Halloween youd expect everyone to be in great happy mood especially around kids. So i ordered my DAUGHTERs happy meal and my food as well. The guy that took my card for payment was great. When i went to second window to pickup my food. It was all hell. The lady was very friggn rude and didnt even say hello. I asked her if i can have a siracha sauce, and just a fyi, ive never paid for a siracha sauce before. So i guess she said itll be 28 cents. Then i asked really ? Its really 28 cents. And she and the manger rudely replied "YEAH" like friggn ghetto as hell. I will never friggn go to the Mcdonalds ever again. Rude people. Then on top of this, i get home and the sauce i friggn paid for is the wrong one. Really????? Its really upsetting to know you expect to get paid more money and you dont even do your job right. Plus, if you dont like your job then you should pick another career. Im really pissed off at the way i was treated there. Will never go here again. I get my daughter her happy meals and i spendmy hard working money and pay these idiots to treat me like that. Seriously?? Isnt there a training program when you begin to work here? Well, you need to get your manager trained again your cashier!! I will be emailing corporate too after this review. People like that shouldnt work in places like this, gives a huge food chain a bad taste in the mouth. It seems like theu just hire anyone off the...
