Nuevo Poncitlan — Restaurant in Berwyn

I was around the area and hungry. This restaurant has great ratings on google and the pictures look good. Not so hard to find parking , I found one in front and free.

When I came in I wasn’t greeted, but the place was clean and had a chill environment. I notice a lot of people coming in and out for take out orders, which means people really like this food. It was semi full inside with people eating in. I order a Gordita for me and a quesadilla with carne for my daughter. The quesadilla looked like a steak with melted cheese taco. My Gordita was really good it was fried but it wasn’t greasy nor you could taste the grease, it was delicious. It wasn’t too big nor to small it was an okay, eve though I ask if they came big and the lady said that they did. Not to mention that they had the same lady taking the take out and waiting table orders. Maybe that’s why she notice me sitting after a while sitting but the food came fast and the cook brought it out not just for me but for everyone. After my food was given to me I didn’t see the waiter again until I got up to pay. I still left a tip , bc I always do. Although not my usual good tips when I receive a great service.

Me and my family have been buying from them for a while my sister gets the same thing sopes they actually know her by name we actually were very happy until 5-18-19 I ordered some food worth 30 dollars I placed it at 7:10 pm unfortunately my dad got sick we had to call the ambulance to take him to the hospital so around 8:38 I called back to apologize and request if they can please remake my order mind you I’m a paying customer who is paying for their food plus I had the common courtesy to call! Well they said no they couldn’t that it was sitting on the counter waiting now with all the stuff going on with my dad I went in and picked up the order at this time it was 8:58 so I was given a whole hour food that was cold I also called to talk to the manager and she was extremely rude literally ignored my complaint was arguing with me. I was a General manager for 10 years in the restaurant business and this is absolutely not good customer service you want to make sure your customer is satisfied and I wasn’t I was actually insulted I am ashamed at the management this establishment has I would never be returning I will make sure everyone knows about my experience. I visited a friend and we ate a burrito which was bought from this place and I like it that is why I decided to visit the place. I think I've already been here long ago. The place is clean and the atmosphere is cozy. The staff is nice and friendly in the counter. I just wanted their burrito but they got a nice and many Mexican food option on their menu so I also ordered some tacos. There are only a few people inside including me but the food seems to take longer than I expected. I waited patiently for the food and everything is served with a nice portion. The burrito was really good and I think I am going to be fan of it. The tacos were nice but not exactly how I thought it would be. That was all and I highly recommend...
