I cannot recommend Golden Blades enough, especially for parents of children on the autism spectrum. My son and I had a truly wonderful experience with Antonio, the owner, who was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding. From the moment we walked in, he took the time to make my son feel comfortable, working around his needs and moving at his pace.
Haircuts can sometimes be overwhelming for children with sensory sensitivities, but Antonio made the process so much easier. He explained everything as he went, gave my son time to adjust, and never rushed him. It was such a relief to see my son feel safe and at ease during the experience.

I was chatting with DJ while he was cutting my sons hair and he told me that they decided to be an official autism friendly shop out of necessity. They were already cutting hair for friends and family members with autism so they decided to help others too. DJ was very patient with my wiggly jiggly kid. My son is usually real tense during his haircuts and fidgets and holds his ears but he slowly relaxed with the vibe of the shop. The artwork (which is super dope)on the walls was a great distraction for my son.
