I had a taste for some chicken and decided on Church's. Upon arriving at the drive thru, I just sat there waiting on someone to come on the intercom. 11 minutes later and me saying hello twice, no one came on, so I drove around to go inside. When I came inside, there was only 1 person inside. They were soooo slow. I asked for some smokehouse chicken and the cashier was kind enough to ask me did I want fresh chicken, would I be willing to wait? I said sure. It was around 8ish so it wasn't busy. While waiting on some fresh chicken, I noticed some interesting facts. The health score was not posted or visible....then one of the employees said the health inspector put it in the men's bathroom....??? and the score was supposed to have been a 94..?? Also, the use of hair nets was not a practice. The fryers had a bin up under it with with some type of yellow hose going into it...??? The cook did have a hat on and was trying to swap out the racks to place more chicken on it and it fell into the grease. He picked it up and just scraped off the stuck on crumbs with a scraper and sat it back down. I was shocked. All the while the cashier and another employee looking for the health score. They didn't find it and she called the manager, but no one knew where it was...??? I was happy to get some fresh chicken and the cashier was nice enough to throw in a free biscuit. As I was leaving, one of the employees was taking a smoke break, sitting down in front of the restaurant talking loud on the phone and using some choice words. The chicken was good. The environment and work stations need cleansing, up to date frying machines need to be installed and a refresher course on conversing in the midst of customers. But as equally important.."DISPLAY YOUR HEALTH SCORE"! After all, hanging on the wall it said it must be placed in a...
Read moreI’ve been to this Church’s a few times, and it’s usually great, but today was a completely different experience. The lady working there had the worst attitude. I asked her about the specials since I didn’t see any listed, and she said she didn’t know because she doesn’t have them memorized. Then, when I asked a question about one of the family deals, she snapped at me, saying I should just “look in the menu.” I decided to go inside to get clarification, but she totally ignored me. She was talking on the phone about taking care of her kids and just walked off, leaving me standing there. The cook even looked at me like, “Where did she go?” I ended up having to get a manager to help me out and take my order, while the lady came back to take orders at the drive-thru like nothing happened. I get that everyone has off days, but this lady’s attitude was seriously off-putting and could definitely turn people away. On top of that, this location never has hot sauce, which is a big letdown for a Church’s. The manager, though, was awesome and handled everything well — just wish the other employee had the same customer...
Read moreI burned my hands in the Men's Bathroom because of a defective faucet at this location Churches Chicken #237. See the video of the defective faucet and how hot the water was. When I first forced the faucet open it went for the hot section but it was until after I put my hands below the faucet that the water transitioned to steamy hot and burned by hands. I complained to the first person that identified themselves as "one of the managers" and showed her how it happened and I burned my hands, all she said was "thank you for reporting it". Nothing like "is there anything that I can do to help you" or "do you want some ice etc." nothing. So I ended up calling the police to report it and showed the same to the police. The real manager waited until the officer was outside to start talking to me and he immediately began doubting what I was telling him so I told him that I can't talk to him because he works here. The police called the fire dept., they came and told me that they can't do anything about a burn, it will have to take its course. I am concerned for blisters in my hand. Will give an...
