This store is horrendous! I will NEVER order Pizza Hut again after my experience with this store. I am forced to give one star but they don’t even deserve that.
This is the second time I’ve ordered from this location using the app. The first time was also a nightmare. On both occasions I changed my home address in the app as I had moved since I ordered last. I placed my order and 45 mins later was called by the driver needing help finding my house. The first time I was told by the driver that she was the GM out delivering because they were short handed. My new address is also served by the same store so she said she’d bring the order. 20 mins later, she calls and says she has to go back to the store because it’s too far for her to drive to my correct location. I was mad, but whatever. My order was cancelled and money refunded and I got food elsewhere. This was awhile ago and I get that sometimes stuff happens as I used to work as an assistant manager for Pizza Hut. I regretfully decided tonight to give them another shot.
On this order, the driver calls for directions and once we realized he’s at the wrong house he said he would bring it to me. By this point my food has been ready for about 45 mins and I know it’s probably cold. The driver says call the store I’m sure they’ll comp it. Super long story short, they refused to comp it, refused to refund my money, hung up on me several times, told me that as a franchise they are unable to process refunds. They had no intention of refunding my money or sending me new food (which I didn’t want at this point). Every time I or my boyfriend called, we were hung up on by management. At this point we were beyond mad and not nice about the situation because our kids are starving and it’s 10pm and everything else is closing. I finally saw the charge reversed on my card but never was given an apology, the situation was not made right. I’m in complete shock at the lack of concern for their paying customers. I can see by other reviews this is a common practice for them. I have left a complaint online, although I’m sure they won’t be bothered by it. I hope people take heed of the reviews with horror stories because I promise you don’t want this headache! Read moreWhat a kick to the groin! So here's my tale of woe; Coming home, I saw the Pizza Hut sign and remembered they've revived thier any pizza for ten bucks deal. I decided that would be a better option than cooking so stopped in to buy two large specialties, I asked if the ten dollar thing was still in effect & he said yes but then recanted and said that specialty pizzas were $13 each and what would I like for that price- I left. Went home to verify my misunderstanding on the innerwebz- maybe its for participating places only- only to find that I could get ten dollar spec. pizzas if I ordered online. Well this must be my malfunction, the deal is online only. Nope! Going back to the store I told the kid i'd ordered online & he took my $10.85- I asked if they had wifi & when he told me they did I said i'd have to remember to bring my laptop with me next time so I could get the deal. "Oh no," says he, "we can only do the ten dollar deals if the customer asks for them." I was speechless. Not just because it was a lie- but such a bold lie! Told to me with a smile! I went outside to smoke and calm down before reviewing my responses. I decided that it would be best to get my stuff and leave quietly. My reasons for not starting a stink; no one there looked responsible enough to address my concerns, an employee so accustomed to such blithe behavior is capible of contaminating my food for fun. I will NEVER return & recommend you avoid the place- there's another one not far east on 23rd St. i've no problem with, go there. Followup: I called the manager, Rachel, and told my story. To her credit, she allowed me to finish without interupting. She said she would 'talk' to the kid at the counter and offered ten bucks credit as well as her assurance that no food would be tampered with. Read moreI ordered my food and received a confirmation email that my food would arrive at 5:30pm. 15min later my food.. no where to be found. I called the store spoke to the lady on the phone who checked the status for me - Out for delivery.. 10 minutes later still nothing so I called the store & gave them my number once more amd the lady said “didn’t you just call up here” I said yes girl, and asked her if I should be concerned my food got delivered elsewhere . She put me on hold to check status and then brought manager on phone- I didn’t even ask for him- I asked for the status and he said the driver was on his way 🙌 perfect timing ! Looked through my order and no wings 😩 I called and let the lady know they forgot my wings and she said she would have them out, mind you, I’m only 6minutes from them and unfortunately down to one car! An hour later and still nothing , so I have my husband call the store to let them know- being that I’m in the restroom. The manager and husband came to an agreement to credit my account( which should have happen the first time I called & still have my wings delivered) I come to find out of this agreement and I call the store back to speak to manager, Noah, to let him know I still want my wings. And he tells me he can’t send the wings for free and give me a credit at the same time and that he has already offered a resolution.. I told him I still wanted my wings regardless of what was agreed with my husband! And not once does he offer to take my order. 2 hrs waiting on some chicken wings and you can’t give me both 🤔 that’s beside the point , I should’ve gotten to enjoy my wings with my meal the first time around !!
