I am a pub kind of guy! And this one did not disappoint! We came in for dinner after a long day of lounging on a rainy day in December. The pub is located in the basement of the Sudsbury Inn. The pub was crowded, but the atmosphere was laid-back and pretty chill. We were greeted and sat after about 5 minutes. Big wood tables, a large bar in the middle of the space, and a stage and dance floor. We all got drinks. I especially loved the Pabst Blue Ribbon $2.50 draft special! Everyone of the 5 of us enjoyed their meals. We had the baked Haddock (2 orders). Nicely done and served with rice and veggies. (We had one made gluten free without the bread crumbs.) I had the Carnivore pizza. I have to say, I am from NY and a bit of a pizza snob, but the pizza was surprisingly good. The small pie was more than enough for me and to share. Crust was great, perfectly cooked and topped with ham, pepperoni and sausage. We also had the veggie burrito (which was huge and loaded with cheese on the outside!). We added grilled chicken. My son had the haddock sandwich, which he loved and the sweet potato fries, which were excellent. I would have liked a maple dip.

The service was excellent and friendly. A live musician played a couple of sets while we were there and we thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment, food and atmosphere of the pub. This may become our go to place when...

This is place has the worst service! I came here with friends we ordered some pizza and garlic bread. Our server had so much attitude our garlic bread was rock solid and she took it away and said I guess your not going to eat it. Then we also ordered a chicken Parmesan pizza which is not on the menu but we usually order it. The waiter said no. So we asked if she could just ask the kitchen for us. She came back and said no again, so we just ordered chicken Parmesan and a cheese pizza. When it got here which took 40 minutes we showed our waiter how little time it took to cut the chicken and put it on the pizza. Then the manager came over and asked is there a problem? We said our food took forty minutes and the customer service is terrible the manager then walked away. That was our terrible experience at sud’s the only other thing that shocked me was thatt...

My boyfriend & I visited The Suds Pub in August 2024 & it was the one of the coolest pubs we have been to. We were recommended this pub by the owners of the Holidae House which was right down the street (which I also recommend staying at!). We went for dinner after a long drive from Acadia National Park going back home to Vermont & we only ordered 2 small dishes but the atmosphere was chill & everyone seemed to know each other (customers & employees knew each other very well) which just gave it that chill family feeling. My boyfriend had the French Onion Soup & I had the Nachos with Cheese (which were huge!!!! My boyfriend had to help me finish them). The prices are extremely reasonable & the food was amazing! Make this your local pub...

We went in for lunch on a Friday so the plae was almost empty. Think there was 5 other people in there. The bar tender was very nice and introduced us to Maine Beer Companies beer named Lunch. The name is a dedication to a whale that swims around near the coast of Maine. It was very good. The food was delicious. I had a Carnavor Calzone, the thing was hugh and must have had 2 pounds of meat in it. My GF had the fish sandwich which she enjoyed immensly. The place is in the basement of a old house turned into an INN. Great atmosphere. I definately recomend the Sud's Pub
