Decided to try this place for their grand opening. Mistake. Tried ordering off their displayed menu when you walk into the restaurant. The person taking the orders had to keep asking someone where to find it in the computer. That person then had to check if they had the item. Finally, this second person (Owner?) says to us that they have a limited menu since they are brand new. Huh? nowhere is there signs and you have 2 other identical restaurants in the nearby area. You don't know how to train new people to make the food or get someone from your other restaurant temporarily? Makes me think they don't know how to run a restaurant or business for that matter. On to the food. We ordered lemon potatoes, grilled haloumi, and 2 beef & lamb qyro wraps. The lemon potatoes had good flavor, but 7 potato logs in an order for a regular price of 7.99 seems way too much. The Grilled Haloumi more of the same. Tasty but 4 slices of cheese and 8 pita points for 11.99 is kind of steep, even for fast food, which is what I would describe this food. The Gyro wraps were loaded with Gyro meat and fries, but not much else. one slice of tomato cut in half and a few slivers of onions. Every Gyro I've ever eaten and I've eaten more then my share come loaded with veggies, lettuce, tomatoes and onions. This was a sad attempt at looking like a Gryo and was not "wrapped" like the picture, rather presented as a normal Gyro sandwich. As for the taste, all the fries in the sandwich made the sandwich dry. The meat tasted good and the pita was a tad on the soggy side. If they had not had the 50 percent off for their grand opening, I would have been highly disappointed in my meal. It cost just over 20 dollars for 2 of us, but should have cost over 40. Definitely not worth the price and hassle I went through trying to order. This is definitely not a good replacement for Johnny's Gyros(the previous name of this location) and I highly doubt that I...

Brother Tim and I hit up this spot (old Johnny's on Easton Ave) for lunch today. Upon entering, I immediately ran in to the OG Karaoke Club DJ in Bethlehem, Jose Santiago, and his lovely wife, Eleanor, so that gave me good vibes. Then, the young man who greeted us from behind the counter had a Greek accent, lending hope of authentic foods and joyous taste buds.
Let me tell ya, the gyro meat is unlike anything I've ever tasted...it had a slight smoky flavor with a more complex profile. It even looks different--reddish brown in color with clearly recognizable herbs, not the usual grayish brown gyro meat. Packed with meat, homemade tzaziki and LTO, this is a BIG gyro. Served with fries, too! He even brought us a complimentary order of Loukamades (small, fried dough balls, drizzled in honey and cinnamon). I ordered Dolmadas (stuffed grape leaves), Baklava, Spanikopitas (spinach pie), and assorted sauces/dips with pita to bring home. Every single item was well crafted and delectable.
Whether your a Grecophile Foodie like me or not, I predict you'll love GYRO CONCEPTS. (No, they didn't pay me to...

But I can say that the new owners here at Gyro Concept are legit about their culture. Greek owned and ran. The flavors are on spot with what you think of when eating at a Greek restaurant. Fresh and light yet so flavorful! I grabbed the lamb gyro which the meat was slightly dry but the tzatziki made up for it! My girlfriend got the cretan salad which was amazing and she is Greek so she was impressed. The highlight to our first visit is the lady behind the counter who took our order. My girlfriend asked if they made loukomades, “fried dough with honey syrup”. The lady gave us our order and said she gave us a surprise. Lo and behold some loukomades in our bag when we got home ☺️. Those little thoughts speak volumes about the commitment their service is to providing good food and smiles to their customers. Will absolutely be going back when we crave some Greek food from the valley! Thank you for your...
