I went for lunch with my girlfriend to try it as I had heard some good reviews from the Lehigh Valley Food group. I got to say that was one of the most disappointing meals we have eaten in a long time. We got the Chicken Halal plater with fries, a spicy chicken sandwich, onion rings, and 12 wings. Where do I start... Lets start with the best thing, which was the Chicken Halal which came out pretty good over rice with a great taste and good sauce, but it goes downhill hard. The fries were undercooked and cold. The side of onions rings were also cold and undercooked too. Mind you we came on lunch to order out but ordered there and waited with only 2 other people waiting for orders so in ways busy. Then onto the disappointing "Buffalo wings" they gave us very basic also slightly undercooked wings with 2 packets of spicy sauce... We had to air fry them for them to be edible and they were still disappointing. Then onto the absolutely terrible Chicken Sandwich. I paid $6.99 on the time which is more than other fast food quality Chicken Sandwich's. It was spicy sauce throw on to a disheveled bun but the thin piece of chicken was something you would get out of a school cafeteria not a restaurant, basically inedible. I had higher hopes but if you come here, just go for the main entrée and don't touch anything else. I will not be going back unless other tell me it's gotten...
Read moreThis review is weeks overdue I struggled how to put it concisely - Elias is immaculate; and Mo / the sign were 1000% correct this is (unquestionably) the best fried chicken in the Lehigh Valley.
Imo, for the quality, the tenders should be priced closer to $18.99 - 21.99 for a platter. The order I was able to enjoy was perfect & served late at night towards close.
I don't use that word lightly; and I've been looking, for awhile & for perfection. These are the best chicken tenders I have found anywhere including major metro chains and that's just the truth in experience .... I chose to write this review, as always, to acknowledge exceptional service.
I like, and frequent, many of the halal eateries in Bethlehem/Pembroke and have been searching for a proper chicken tender over 7 states since 2014.
It's here. There's a small bar in Hartford, CT that's been preparing wings for nearly 80 years that I also would give a 9.8 rating to and then there is Elias Grill on Stefko Boulevard.
It's evident the ownership team takes great pride in this restaurant & the quality in food preparation reflects this paradigm. Couldn't recommend stopping in more - you will leave satisfied; and hopefully impressed.
Best white sauce in the LV. Hopeful someone will show me a better preparation some day but until then...
Read moreThis place is the worst of its kind in the area so far. Don't even bother. Go to sizzling bites or flaming hot cause this place sucks. Absolutely ALL rice and the chicken is chopped, dried out and so small it's barely edible or noticeable in the dish at all. I asked for the sauces on the side and I got none. It's clearly on the label they taped to the bag as well and the description said I could pick from any of the sauce combinations with the order. One came with a squirt of flavorless white sauce on top of a pile of so so flavored rice, that was it. The other had nothing on it. Just dried out looking chicken I don't even want to eat honestly. The "salad" is just pieces of lettuce and chunks of tomatoes and maybe a chunk of cucumber but NO DRESSING of any kind. It's dry lol it's a joke. The fries were soggy, oily and normal frozen food fries. Nothing special. Glad it was buy one get one free and yet somehow I still feel ripped off. Will not be back and will tell everyone to go somewhere else 👎🏻 Why I can't post photos of this gross food, I don't know why but I...
