A very handsome brick and mortar and a beautiful part of town. But, that is about as far as it went. We got seated right away for a party of 7, so that was nice as well. The waitress came over and got our drink orders first. They came out and we ordered apps. After the apps we made our main course orders and they came out quickly. When they came out, I asked the waitress for a refill on my drink, and she said in a very condescending way that she was going to finish serving the main courses first. I responded that I did not imply she had to drop everything and grab me a drink immediately, I just wanted to let her know that I was looking for a refill. the appetizer I ordered were the wings, which were very generic tasting but good nonetheless. Nothing to write home about, so just okay. I ordered my burger medium, and it came out well done. She never came back to the table to see how everything was, so I couldn't tell her the burger was wayyyy overcooked. So needless to say I ate a few bites, trying to get to the center where maybe it was less burned, but it was cooked completely through. I know ordering a burger at an Italian place is kind of stupid, but I haven't had a really well cooked Burger in a long time then I felt confident that this place would be able to provide. Guessed wrong. I was also going to order a pizza to go to eat while we watch the fights tonight, but because of the service and quality of cook and lack of care I decided against it. Another one of the guests at my table was halfway through her garlic parmesan french fry appetizer and the waitress just took the plate away.she didn't ask if she was done with it, she just kind of swooped it out of the way and threw it away. I would have loved to have tried the pizza, being as it looks completely amazing, but I don't think I will ever be going back...
Read moreThe whole experience was mediocre and awkward. Upon arrival, it was a bit awkward as we walked in because several employees walked past us, glanced at us, and then kept walking as we waited to be seated (which after a couple of minutes we were unsure if we were supposed to seat ourselves or not.) Eventually the hostess came out and let us pick our seats, but it still would have been nice if someone let us know that it would be a moment before someone was able to seat us. Our server was okay- he was a young kid so I will give him some slack but it was so awkward from start to finish. Our orders were taken very quickly, and our food came out quickly as well. My boyfriend ordered a pizza (which he did not like) and I ordered a panini. It was good for the most part but it seriously lacked some flavor. We then asked for some boxes, and my boyfriend politely asked our server for the check. When my boyfriend asked for the check, our server laughed at us and walked away. After our card was ready to be taken to be charged, we waited a solid 10 minutes for our server (or anyone at all) to come by our table and grab it. Please note that there were only 2-3 other tables seated at the time so it was not busy what-so-ever. Both our server and multiple other employees stood behind the counter messing around, while looking at us multiple times, and no one ever came over to grab our card. We actually had to walk it up to the counter because we just wanted to leave so badly. This was our first visit and we most likely will not be back. A great word to describe the visit is just plain “awkward.” If I am going to pay that much money for a pizza and a panini at a restaurant that is supposed to be at a higher standard, I expect to be paid attention to and treated as a customer in...
Read moreWe were there last night and we were overall very disappointed, as we had looked forward to trying out something new. We had called several days before to make a reservation and we were given a very noisy table with a view into the kitchen area, very close to other tables, when in fact there was a much nicer table that was available the entire time we were there. Our waitress seemed inexperienced and uncomfortable. It took forever for my husband to be served his drink, and the waitress had to return to clarify what he ordered. We waited quite a while for our three dishes to be served. I asked for Parmesan cheese, and it was brought in the small shaker- not fresh.Note: the bread and salads were served to us about 5 minutes before the main dish. My husband did not receive what he had ordered. Dish was supposed to be seafood, and came out only with shrimp. Our salad plates were never cleared from the small table after we started eating our entrees. We barely had enough room. Keep in mind the waitresses were standing around in plain sight behind the counter; our waitress was even on her cell phone. When she asked us how everything was, and my husband indicated the issue with his dish being wrong, there was never any additional remedy other than “I‘m sorry.” She walked away and still didn’t take the empty dishes off the table. Another waitress sat at a high table next to ours counting her tips. We will...
