I have been a frequent visitor of this McDonald's over the years, having 2 kids & unfortunately this location has only gone down hill. Service has always been a bit off, but lately it's just a disaster. The food still remains the same, as long as you receive what you ACTUALLY ordered. Many times I have had to go back in, or correct an item at the window. Sometimes I find I have been charged for items I didn't order. However, this most recent trip, within the last day or 2 of this post; was not very pleasant. From placing my order (which they got wrong at the speaker & gave me 1 price to pay) to the pay Window where I was read the wrong order, had to repeat my order only to be charged more money because they didn't "hear" me say I wanted 2 of a certain item, again I repeated that order more than once while at the speaker. So okay, took the extra charge & moved on to the next Window to pick up our food. At that window I was AGAIN presented with an order that was NOT MINE (and I do believe this may have something to do with the whole double speaker set up, seeming to make it more difficult on the workers). However, the double speaker has been around for a bit, but even before that change, I still had issues with wrong food orders etc, so who is to really blame these mistakes on... Eh 🤷🏻♀️ I honestly don't know anymore. I cannot comment on the current atmosphere since it is under construction, that's why I gave the two star rating however beforehand it was a nice upgrade done to McDonald's, so this new one should be a pleasant surprise, I can only assume the atmosphere will be upgraded again. With this being the most convenient McDonald's around at the moment, I will still be a customer there, however I suggest that if you go there, DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING→from the moment you order at the speaker, to the Pay & Pick up Windows...keep your receipt & I hope others have a better experience & at some point I hope McDonalds does make some improvements with their employees/service and/or how they manage the double speaker drive-thru confusion! I was directed away from the counter and told to order at a order stall. The order stalls don't allow Mac sauce mods either, so I declined and waited.
I waited around 15 minutes until a staff came up to the front, then tried to place my order. I've been ordering the same thing for a while now: a mcdouble meal sub Mac sauce on the burger, upgrade to a large drink. (All McDonald's drinks are priced the same no matter the size. You can upgrade any drink to large in the app with no charge)
Team member told me I couldn't upgrade the drink, after telling me to slow down when I asked for a mcdouble meal, then asked for Mac sauce on it. (Overwhelmed by two sentences)

Read moreWhen I entered restraunt, I saw that there was a young Asian gentlemen standing near a electronic board. When I approached the counter he kindly asked me to use the "kiosk", for it was a new system that Mcdonalds is trying to use. I told him I was paying cash and he said that was fine and that he would help me if needed. I preferred using the counter but you learn something new everyday. I was very suprised he was fluent in English and talk very melodously. After ordering he told me I could take a seat that he would bring the food over. I was overwhelmed by the fast events that occurred but it worked out fine. He gave to me two free refills and took my tray and trash away for me.
