Three Girls Deli Bakery and Catering — Restaurant in Big Rapids

First of all the cakes themselves were OK, however the frosting was requested to not make it so sweet! I!requested they use half or less the amount of sugar in it. If they could not cut down on the sugar I wish they would have let me know and I would have ordered elsewhere. I asked for the wippy frosting and was told they did not have that option that they only had butter cream or cream cheese. I was totally embarrassed when I served the cake because the guests we're literally scraping the frosting off the cake and setting it aside. When I asked what was wrong....... several derogatory remarks were made on how terribly sweet it was and ruined the taste of the cakes. If you do not like the cake flavor masked over by sugar.... I would not recommend them for a cake order. I called them to let them know how unhappy I was with the cakes.... Their response was I will let them know! $110.00 for 2 small cakes that were almost unedible... Needless to say I would not place another cake order with them. Tried booking this bakery to make a wedding cake for my wedding in June. Was in contact with them in April, and they said they could do it, would just need a deposit. I told them that's awesome, and would pay it.

Never heard back from them again.

Tried calling to schedule a taste tasting, and contacting about the deposit. Never heard anything.

I went int he shop in person to be informed they couldn't hold the date because I never paid the deposit. I was never informed how much the deposit was, or even how to pay it.

Moral of the story, if you need to schedule something with this bakery do it person. They clearly prioritize physical sheets over anything done online, and don't respond to emails or calls.

I wanted to use this bakery for my wedding because I had heard they were the best place in town. They might be, but their business practices leaves a bad taste...

The delivery came early and fast. She called me on the phone because she was lost which a lot of times this does happen with my place. But we found each-other and when I went up stairs and open the box I saw such a beautiful display of a cheesecake. And as I took my first bite I started to cry because it tasted like the last cheesecake I had at a restaurant I my grandma my papa rip and great grandfather rip went too.
