This location has got to be the most poorly managed place I've ever paid hard earned money to. I have come in multiple times to offensive music blasting out of the kitchen, while the team members on the line talk about going to strip clubs or other inappropriate topics. Someone other than myself must've complained about that, because on my next visit they were paying Christian music in the dining area so loud you couldn't have a conversation with the person right next to you. My most recent visit was the morning of 6-8-16. The lobby opens at 7am for breakfast, and it was 7:51am. All of the chairs were still sitting on their tables and some guests in front of me had to take them down just so they could dine in because none of the staff here were interested in completely opening their dining room for service or even greeting anyone who entered! I approached the counter to make an order and was asked "What do you want?" By Deedra A. I told her I'd like to get a look at the breakfast menu so that I could make a selection, as the menus were all still turned around for lunch/dinner. She looked up at the menus and back to me and followed up with "So do you want a crunchwrap or burrito, or something?" I asked if she could turn the menu boards around so that I could see what they had to offer. Her tone was increasingly hostile at this point as she snapped "I can't reach the menus that's why I'm telling you what's on there!" Now, it was early in the morning and I'm sure she was simply running behind in her opening duties, but as someone who works in customer service myself, there is NO excuse to treat a customer with as much indignation as I calmly waited through with Deedra A. I asked her she had step stool in the kitchen (they would HAVE to have one just for routine cleaning!) and she yelled over to another employee who had been sitting on a bench (presumably waiting to clock in) as the people behind me had been staging their own table "Hey Mark come turn this menu around!" Mark got up walked around, turned the menus around, didn't say a word or make eye contact with ANYONE and sat back down to stare at his phone like he'd been doing the whole time. At this time Deedra walked away from the service counter and proceeded to service 2 separate drive thru guests before coming back to take my order. By this time I was afraid of what this particular crew would do to my food do I just asked for an XL drink. With her ever constant attitude she walked back to the drive thru window, taking her time to grab a cup there, when they had them staged at the front counter anyway, and took my payment, WITHOUT giving me my receipt, and severed ANOTHER drive thru guest before turning around and FINALLY giving me my receipt, after I had to ask her to get it from behind the register where she let it fall after giving the drive thru guest THEIR receipt! I looked to the guys behind me who had been waiting and looked just as baffled as me, and simply said "Good luck guys" before getting my drink and leaving. I called to file a complaint the same day with Taco Bell's "Customer Service" number and spoke to a very bored sounding, unapologetic service rep who would not give me the contact information of the franchise owner of this location, but said that they would reach out to me in 3 business days. I'm still waiting and plan to make an even lengthier report than this to the Better...
Read moreMy order was made wrong. We don't live in big spring, so I couldn't just take it back up there. I called and let the person that answered know our food wasn't made right, but because it was late we made the best of it. She said she was the manager and that since we ate the food that she couldn't refund my money. I had never asked for a refund, was only letting them know they messed up. I told her that I couldn't verify my order because their screen was froze with a previous order and an error message. She laughed and told me that NO their screen was not messed up. I felt like she didn't take the opportunity to show us good customer service. Just acknowledging their error and an apology would have sufficed. She was the manager too. Smh she had made the order herself per what was on the screen. She said next time I needed to have the DT person repeat my order back to me. She's right about that instead of assuming they can take an...
Read moreIf you're considering stopping by the Taco Bell in Big Springs, do yourself a favor and don't. This place is a health code violation waiting to happen. The kitchen is visibly filthy—old food on the counters, sticky floors, and equipment that clearly hasn't been cleaned in who knows how long. It's stomach-turning just looking at where your food is being prepared.
As if that wasn't bad enough, the wait times are absurd. We're talking 25+ minutes for something as simple as tacos or a burrito. How does it take nearly half an hour to throw together a Crunchwrap? Especially when the restaurant isn't even busy?
The service is just as disappointing. The staff acts like you're bothering them by simply ordering food. Zero urgency, zero friendliness, and zero accountability. No updates, no apologies, and certainly no care for customer experience.
Taco Bell corporate should seriously consider stepping in—this location is a disgrace...
