Looking at the menu and pictures, it looked very promising. Walking in, however, the place looked spartan and cheap with plastic decorations falling off the walls. Their strength is the presentation and variety of food which is completely lost on their giant chalkboard menu. The employees inside had a vague idea of what was in the items but it was easier to pull up their website and look that way. We got basic breakfast sandwiches that looked very impressive but at $9 we were expecting a lot. The sweet rolls they came on were great and the cheese gave it a good texture, but the tiny pieces of thin bacon were pitiful and were lost in the sandwich. The egg is clearly baked ahead of time in muffin cups which gives it a rubbery, powdery texture like dry hardboiled eggs. Neither of us could finish it. The iced coffee was good but the “flavor” wasn’t noticeable at all besides making it very sweet.
I’m sure the smoothies and more specialty items would be better, but its hard to want to try them when the basics were so disappointing and overpriced.
The location is weird because there is nothing around the strip mall it sits in to draw you to that area, and this place itself isn’t a destination. The concept seems to have potential but the area that it’s in isn’t usually looking for this type of food. There are offices nearby but it doesn’t seem sustainable to rely solely on them.
Unfortunately, you only get one opportunity to make a first impression and with many more options around, I don’t see myself risking it again...
Read more2 stars only because I usually love this place. Today I looked at the menu online before going to the store to order, I decided on the Strawberry Mango French Toast. When I arrived at the restaurant I noticed the item I wanted wasn’t on their menu. I asked the girl at the register if they served strawberry mango french toast, understanding that sometimes the website doesn’t get updated everyday, also fully ready to alter my order. She told me they were able to make it for me, I told her it was okay if they couldn’t and she INSISTED it was fine. Okay. I pay for my order and head to a table to wait for my food, then the same girl taking my order called me to the counter to tell me they could not make the food I ordered and offered me Blueberries instead of mango, I said that was fine and continued to wait. The wait was not long whatsoever, which was concerning. When i received my food and left the store, I checked it out in the car and what I found was two pieces of french toast, some remnants of whipped cream and three whole strawberries (no blueberries). This french toast is supposed to come with whipped cream and i didn’t even receive 1 tbsp of whipped cream, it honestly looks like it was left over off the spoon from someone else’s order. It’s clear my order was very rushed, even though they were not busy with customers at the time of my visit. VERY disappointed with my experience at Feel...
Read moreThe food and staff are amazing. Avocados were perfectly fresh! Staff is very professional and very courteous.
I was disappointed that I could not tip the employees. The company has chosen to configure its point-of-sale system not to receive tips for employees. This is most likely to minimize their accounting burden. However, it does not allow the public to properly reward their employees for their great service.
Considering these two points… 80% of the general public does not carry cash. Second, and most timely, the federal government snd all health agencies are strongly encouraging us not to use paper money. Therefore, the employees can only be rewarded for the good service by using a method that is currently classified as a health risk.
I am only writing this because I know that this is a good company and I hope this will bring change.
Regardless of this tipping issue… It is a...
