Albertanos Billings LLC — Restaurant in Billings

Apparently there were too many reviews about undercooked food, as I received something very different. I did want a crispy burrito but instead of a crisp I had meat so dry, potatoes so dry, that even the sauce couldn’t help. I thought that plates came with beans & rice, but do to an unspeakable language barrier, if your order is wrong, you will not get it fixed. I would like to believe someone knows 1 singular word in English here and is just acting like they don’t know, but I genuinely believe that is wrong. It’s definitely annoying using the app (FromTheRestaurant) and not receiving any receipts from a text message, email or even in store. How do you begin cooking a families meal if you need receipts to understand your mistake on my meal? Wasn’t my full order already listed as so? Apparently they have 3 different plates labeled #4 and they do not ask to see which plate you mean. I know thia wasnt the first time this has happened. How am I supposed to know you have 3 menu items labeled by the same number? Still, I reordered and paid to have the corrected item, asked for chicken, and got beef.

Make your menu better. Plates should not have the same numbers as others. Its not my job to read the whole thing, especially when one screen isn't even working to see the whole thing.

Also, all the (overpriced) $3.99 chips I ordered were overcooked and broken. Thanks for the whopping teaspoon of guacamole on my rolled tacos too.

I lived in San Diego for several years and fell in love with good Mexican food, so I admit to be being a snob about Mexican food. For my money, there are only two places in Billings with good authentic Mexican food, La TInga and Camacho's Tacos, until now. I live close to Albertano's and recently stopped and ordered a single Birria taco. I was seriously impressed. Today my wife and I went there and she ordered the same and I ordered some birria rolled tacos with guacamole, cheese and lettuce.
