Not ADA friendly and extremely bad customer service. We had a party of 7 and put ourselves on the waitlist at 4 pm for dinner at 5 pm. It gave us an estimated wait time of 40-50 minutes, but I had to call to let them know we needed a wheelchair accessible table. When I called, she said it would be closer to an hour or an hour and a half. We made the plans appropriately to have everyone show up at 5. My aunt who is wheelchair bound was attending. After waiting over an hour at the restaurant (a total of a 2 hour wait, double the estimated they gave us), my aunt had to use the restroom. Their women's ADA restroom was out of order. I went to ask them about it and they just looked at me and said "yeah its down". They then said we could use the mens and I had to ask them to check if there were any men in there, instead of them taking the accountability and looking themselves. They also then said they would watch the door, and we were walked in on by a man. When I talked to the owner I got no apology for any of this. They also seated a ton of smaller parties before us, instead of putting two tables together. They also informed us that the table we were supposed to be seated at had a large party who had been done with their meal for 30 minutes, but the owner wasn't willing to talk to them so she could give us a better estimated wait time. There were so many things the owner could have done and I have seriously disappointed by the way she acted. We got no apology or even acknowledgment that there was an issue. She was very rude and arrogant - not someone who should be...
Read moreWe’ve been twice… vastly different experiences each time. Initial visit in Nov opening week I believe. Our entire experience was wonderful, there were 3 of us we sat near the bar. Food was delicious but the attentive service in the bar area was our take away. The margaritas were best I’ve ever had. The lemon drop was on a totally different level (kudos bartender Adam). We watched them work at a frantic fast pace and even tho the mayor was there we were given just as much priority as him. Went back last week and had a bad experience. Our waitress didn’t speak English we had to point on the menu… none of our extra requests were understood or met. The food was still good just not what we had actually ordered. Our drinks were not the same quality and even asked the bar mgr Rudy why the Paloma and the Horchata drinks didn’t look or taste the same as before. Because they changed up the menu a bit. Odd? In like a mth it’s changed??? He was very nice and although he didn’t make these drinks he offered to make them differently or make something else. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Although his was good we really enjoyed the speciality drinks the other bartender made before they change up there menu. I understand they’ve had alot of turnover so that’s unfortunate. Growing pains. First visits 5 stars, 2nd visit 1 star so I’ll average it out and say 3 stars. I’d recommend asking for Adam or Rudy if your ordering drinks from the bar and make sure you get a waitress who speaks English unless you speak Spanish . The Street Taco Flight is excellent if you have 3 or...
Read moreActually 5 stars for the service from take out.. BUT the food.. we ordered a tamale and El pastor tacos plus Guac and both salsas.
The tamale was flavorless. I’ve also been making them for about 20 years and had hopes someone had experience, it was EXTREMELY DRY and unfortunately FLAVORLESS! They didn’t even flavor or salt the masa let alone the meat inside, I’m surprised my dog ate it to be honest. I couldn’t even eat it because let’s talk about the salsa now, the green salsa was sour and their Tomatillos weren’t ripe before they made that! THEN the red salsa was sour bland it tasted as if it came out of A fire roasted diced can of tomatoes and they didn’t add anything else to it. The Guac: where to begin lol. It was runny and definitely not authentic. Nothing about this place is “authentic”. And finally, the El Pastor tacos. These definitely were ruined by the tortillas. I see they tried to make their own but definitely failed at that. The time we got them back to our home, they were soggy but that’s not much to write about, what I would never recommend is the lack of authenticity here, el pastor isn’t served this way. Plus the Dino mound of unflavored beers and bland rice they add to it just topped off this waste of a trip. We actually used Taco John’s salsa to try to get some of this down lol. This place won’t stay alive with food quality and prices like this. If you’re looking for a few drinks, their bar is extremely small but may be a fun place at night ONLY for drinks. Everything else sucks. We wouldn’t be back. What a...
