Kava Roots — Restaurant in Billings

I've never experienced a more welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. A friend recommended this shop to me. I had to take a food break during my tattoo session and I had stopped by here first. I had no idea what I wanted but the lady working there helped me decide on a drink. It was perfect! I loved and I felt so much more relaxed. She even invited me to women's karaoke night. It's really a great place for amazing tea, community and almost a spiritual zen vibe. It is such a welcoming, warm and comfortable environment with the dim light and wood floors but it's also very fun, energetic and lively with the music, mural and colors. Would highly recommend checking it out....

I enjoy going to Kava Roots! It’s much better than the other kava spots in town. They a fun atmosphere and their kratom tea is great. There are a few cons to the place such as inconsistency of the prices. I order the exact same drink every time and I pay a different price whether it’s $9, $10, $11, or $12. I never know what they will charge me. Sometimes they charge $2 for peach puree, sometimes they don’t. I have also noticed them pouring water into their kratom tea instead of replacing it which dilutes the tea. That’s a little frustrating as I’m spending approx $10 for watered down tea. Imperial Thai is inside Kava Root. Amazing food. And Kava Root I feel is the best in town. Love their mixed kava and Kratom drinks they make. Well worth the trip. Fun spot, and a bar feel without the drunks. There's other kava bars in town and it felt very bro ish, or like you need to know people to be welcomed in. Kava Root felt like home the first time I came in with friends. I come here every other day now.
