I am rating the 2520 Central Ave, Billings Montana Krispy Kreme donut location a 1 star out of 5 stars. On August 26th, I ordered an Autumn Lovers Dozen, which with the Create your Box selection, which consisted of 6 Maple Pecen Cheesecake donuts and 6 Salted Carmel Brownie donuts. After arriving home and opening the box, we noticed that we got 3 Pecen Cheesecake, 3 Carmel Brownie, 3 Glazed and 3 Spiced Apple. On top of that, we paid the premium price for the donuts that I just mentioned. I called your store and I spoke with a manager and they told me that we would be placed on the Wish list and we could create our box when we arrived in the drive through, to make up for the mistake. After 3 attempts in trying to get the correct amount of said donuts, we were told that you were out of one type, you only had 2 or 3 of one type and none of the other, and so on. This is not "making it right." The most recent experience is as follows: I called and I was told that you had 3 dozen Pecan Cheesecake donuts and I could stop by and pick them up. After arriving at the store, we noticed that was the lobby closed and we wouldn't be able to get our donuts because there were at least 7 cars in the drive thru, and the likelihood of our donuts being purchased by one of the people ahead of us. If you want to make this right, fill a box with the requested donuts, have an employee drive out to my home, and personally deliver them to me. What I don't understand is that if you have a promotional item that everyone enjoys and you know that you will need numerous amounts of said donuts per day, keep them in stock by making those donuts...
Read moreOrdered 3 dozen donuts the night before and paid for them through the website. Set a time for pickup. There were no customers when I pulled up to the store. The lobby was closed.
Pulled to the drive-thru speaker and the person on the speaker proceeds to tell me what is not available. I have to interrupt him to tell him I'm picking up an order and he tells me to pull around. I then can see they are putting the order together --and I don't mean bagging things up; they are just starting to put the first donuts in the first box. I had to wait an additional ten minutes for them to assemble and box up an order that I had scheduled 8 hours in advance.
The rep then tells me that my original glazed donuts won't have holes in them because something is wrong with their machine. The other donuts in the assorted box had holes, but okay. Then the donuts themselves... They were really doughy, and chewy and not the Krispy Kreme donuts I was expecting when I dropped the nearly $50 for them.
The store looked chaotic, and disordered. The donuts were a disappointment. The employees seemed like they were dealing with a lack of leadership and faulty equipment. I would want to know this, so I'm...
Read moreFALSE ADVERTISEMENT! Not only is the wait exceptionally long but the drive from the Heights for a poorly advertised product makes this entire endeavor a slap in the face. My friend drove 45 minutes round trip, waited in line for only God knows how long and spent $60 on Valentine’s Day donuts for her daughter’s class only to arrive to her class with donuts that she couldn’t have made WORSE if she’d tried to do them on her own. She could have gotten a way better at any grocery store but what makes it worse is little mom and pop shops, who take PRIDE in their product, have to work 10x harder to even stay in business when big business like Krispy Kreme come to town. On top of that this mogul decides it is acceptable to waste peoples time, effort and money by sending out a product like this in the HOPE that no one reviews it or posts their subpar performance for others to see. This is unacceptable and frankly it’s insulting, I highly doubt she’s the only one to receive such crummy treatment. I am very disappointed and know from now on to steer clear when I expect a...
