Peppers use to be a great place to go and socialize with an incredible group of people. The new owners put an end to that rather quickly. They decided to get rid of the employees that were the reason many customers frequented Peppers and they gave a promotion to the one employee that customers did their best to avoid. They got the keys to the castle and their first order of business was to turn around and give a huge middle finger to a very loyal customer base. Either they don't understand that people are what makes a bar a bar, or they didn't like the people that spent their hard-earned money at Peppers. I guess we'll see how that works out.
This isn't the first bar they've done this to either. As far as I'm concerned, they came to Billings and ruined three bars in rapid succession. Personally, I wish they would go back to Denver and never look back. We're running out of bars for them to destroy.
If I worked at a bar and found out that these owners were going to take over, I would start looking for a new job immediately. They've clearly shown that they have a cutthroat mentality and aren't afraid to drop the ax on good employees...
Read moreDiscrimination at its finest. The same IRO that you refused service to is the same IRO that helps families and kids with toys and Christmas. Good job Peppers ownership!!
In response to the ownership. I'm curious.. if one of your employees needed help with their children at Christmas and they were refused that help because of what they wore, flying under a bs excuse of dress code, that would make the people in charge of that organization just like you and proudly they are not nor will they ever be like that. I saw folks in shorts, basketball jerseys, tank tops, 1/2 shirts... some dress code.... seems it targets bikers... that is discrimination. If you had a code that stated dress clothes only, that's a dress code. Surely you do not expect the educated public to believe a dress code when clearly your clients and patrons dress how the please.. unless its in regards to motorcycles. Trust and ensure this has been passed through the community. Have the day you deserve...

Pros: served/offered drinks almost immediately upon walking in. Not very crowded or loud.
Cons: THE SMELL! Upon walking in you are hit with an awful sewage smell that lingers for the duration of your stay. That in itself made it difficult for us to want to stay long or order food. When it came time to order drinks, my husband ordered a corona (which they didn’t have) he then chose a Stella (also something they didn’t have), so I would say their beer choices are limited. The price of the drinks did not match the atmosphere. I walked in thinking it was a dive bar given the look, smell, & feel of the establishment but the drink prices reflected...
