We are longtime Perkins customers and tonight was the absolute worst service After we were seated and wait staff was told 2 at the table, at least 15 minutes went by before our server appeared from the back. No greeting, just what are you drinking? We stated we were also ready to order, "what are you eating?" Server clearly had a hard time getting our order down had to repeat everything multiple times, type of dressing, how we wanted our food cooked, etc. After approx another 15 minutes we received our drinks. A half hour after ordering we finally received our salads with mumbled apology, sorry for the wait. Now mind you our server had exactly 1 other table at the time, which the customer already had their food, other servers and the busboy were attending to that Customers needs, drink refills, etc.
This entire time the wait staff and kitchen staff were too busy in the back gossiping, complaining etc, which customers could hear the entire time. I overheard 1 wait staff member say, let them wait after being told customers were at 1 of their tables It is not like He will be a big spender. How disappointing for a local Restaurant to allow staff to react to any Cutomer this way. Our food finally arrives, my order is wrong, a different server returned it to the kitchen for correction, while waiting on my food our server walks over and delivers the check....Wow a customer cannot even eat or receive the correct order before the check is put in front of them. Needless to say, we had to ask for the remaining items we had ordered.
Upon checking out we were asked how everything was, which by the way they really don't want to know. It is just something they feel obligated to ask. Hopefully someone in Management will see this and Maybe care about the Service at this particular Perkins on a Wednesday evening.
