The Sportsbar by FanDuel — Restaurant in Biloxi

We have always came in to eat at the sports bar while at IP casino. We have previously came early and late. I am not one to give a bad review and never have before but last night service changed that. The service last night was AWFUL. walk up to get seated waited maybe 5 minutes max. Not a problem. There was 7 tables with people seated and eating already. 1 table had 4 people the rest had 2 people per table. Hostess seated us, provided menus. We then waited 30 minutes for a our waitress to ask what we wanted to drink ( 2 sweet teas), being we waited so long for our drink order to be taken. We went ahead and placed order for food as well at same time. We ordered an appetizer crab/ artichoke dip and our dinner. 25 minutes later we get served our drinks. Then we are waiting on our food. Waitress asked did we want appetizer before food, yes please. We wait and wait and wait longer 1 hr later food arrives its our dinner. Note: no appetizer arrived before dinner or during food being put on table. Food runner had no idea it was even ordered. So then we had to order food to go because we had comp food credits that if you don't use it all it is just wasted. Just a disaster and nope waitress never even as if we wanted a refill on drinks as both cups was completely empty. Waitress never apologized for the looooong wait for drinks or food not even for the food mess up!!! There was 3 or 4 waitress working, manger hostess, food runners and kitchen staff. We was walking in this place at 8:30pm and they close at 11pm. By the time we got our food and the appetizer mistake happened we was told to hurry with ordering something else before the kitchen closed. So just to give you an idea of when we got our food! Stopped in for a quick bite at this IP Casino and Spa restaurant/bar before our convention registration opened. It was a fun, casual lunch with a few people sitting around the bar watching the NFL combine and talking team smack. That’s what you do when Georgia, LSU and Bama fans all end up at the same bar. However, it was all in good fun. While the Bar Bites menu was limited, a lot of the people there were return customers and loved the food. Most of us there ordered the IP Burger which was tasty and seasoned well. It came with fries which were crisp and flavorful. Other sides were available but I would NOT insult a burger by siding it with a side salad. Lol. Other menu items included steak or chicken nachos, a grilled chicken salad, and wings. The bartender was friendly and took care of us all while talking sports and keeping the conversation going among us all. Blood Marys were a popular choice for the lunch crowd who had been here several times. Since it was an early lunch and I have a long day ahead, I went with the sweet tea but I’ll report on the adult beverages later. This was a fun place with good and reasonably priced food. Ms. Aretha was very kind but after standing in the lobby for 50 minutes my experience was nothing short of awful. My order was placed at 11:17 with an estimate of 20-25 minutes for one order of wings. A bit excessive but fair. After standing standing in line for about 40 minutes all orders behind me & at the bar were served. I then asked the manager Gigi to check and see if my ticket was hanging. She took my ticket with an attitude (no verbal response) and disappeared into the back for about then minutes. She returned still with no verbal communication. After a total of 50 minutes standing Ms. Aretha apologized and told me I would not be receiving my food. She did not know where my ticket went. 11:56 I was issued a refund.
