I ordered a pie from store Pizza Hut 1036, 2145 Bessemer Rd. In Birmingham to be delivered to my nearby hotel room. Pizza was to be delivered at 5:22pm on the 9th of December. I get a notification that my pizza will be delivered by doordash..I didn't order from doordash, I ordered from Pizza Hut. Had I wanted to do business with doordash, I would have ordered from doordash. At 5:16 I get a request to cancel my order from the dd driver because the employee dropped the pizza. I told him to cancel on his end so the order can be reassigned. I get a call from a second driver saying the store doesn't have my order in their system. He says the first driver must have taken the pizza and canceled the delivery. The store says they don't have have my order in the system. Then, my order gets canceled. I call the store and talk to the manager on duty, Spanikee Mickles, who says I need to take it up with Doordash. When I tell her I didn't order from doordash, she hangs up on me. Two call backs go unanswered. So at 6:30 I drive to the store and still get no resolution. The manager was completely rude, unsympathetic and unhelpful. Total; not my problem, you figure it out; attitude. She provided no resolution or guidance on how to achieve resolution. Not anything resembling customer service.
