Service was terrible from the start. When we got seated, our waitress took forever to order our drinks. When she finally got them to us, she forgot our lemons and gave my child an empty cup because she had to wait for the bar tender to get his orange juice. Throughout our dinner, our waitress never filled our drinks once.
Then, she took forever to bring us salad and breadsticks, along with a side of Alfredo sauce. We finished our salad and breadsticks, and then got our food. A different waitress brought out our food and didn’t even offer us any cheese. We waited for our waitress to walk by, so we could ask for cheese and more breadsticks, but she never did.
So I went up to a group of workers and the manager to ask them to find our waitress, but I saw her walk by and just returned to my table. If I️ have to ask you to find my waitress, there’s obviously a problem. The manager didn’t even come to our table to ask me about the ordeal. We ate through half of our meal without our waitress coming back to check on us. By the time we got our cheese and breadsticks, our food was half gone and cold.
I ordered a second bowl of soup, but the waitress continued to chat with other customers for 5+ minutes. When we finally got the bill, there was an orange juice tabbed on that was supposed to come with the kids meal. We waited forever for our waitress to take off the additional charge.
The manager finally came to our table and I told her about the horrible service. She insisted on giving us a free desert, but I just wanted to get the bill and go. The manager ended up giving us a free meal, which was very nice, but I would have much rather had to pay my bill and had...

Read moreI don't go to Olive Garden frequently, but I recently went with a family member and I'm very disappointed with the menu changes over the last few years. They have gotten rid of some of my favorite go-to dishes and replaced them with inferior options. Thrre examples: 1) Seafood Portofino. Probably my favorite entree from their menu in past years. Gone. Nothing similar to replace it. 2) Chicken Marsala with roasted veggies and potatoes. Changed. Yes, they offer a "chicken marsala" entree, but the recipe has changed and isn't as tasty. Furthermore, it's offered with a side of fettuccini alfredo instead now. So disappointing. 3) Lemon Cream Cake. Gone. None of the dessert options are worth it now Additionally, so many of the entree items are excessively high in calories. It makes it difficult to find an entree I don't feel guilty eating. The Lemon Cream Cake was at least worth the splurge because of how delicious it was
Summary: not good. Not my first, second, or probably third choice if I'm feeling like pasta. The only pro for me is the unlimited salad. That hasn't changed and still tastes the same. But salad isn't enough to bring me back to this...
