McDonald's — Restaurant in Blackman Charter Township

Had the worst experience coming home from work Saturday night. Around 10:10, my girlfriend and I decided to stop at McDonalds. They were out of smoothies, slushie's, ice cream and milk shakes. We had to park at the front of the parking lot, as far away from the building as possible and wait (for what they did have). After sitting there for 10 minutes, I got out, stood by the car and lit a cigarette. 10:20, a young man came out with a small bag and asked if I got the cheeseburger and fries. I said no, that I had ordered two spicy chicken and two quarter pounders with cheese extra catsup no pickle, 1 large fry and a large Coke. Two more times he asked me, with a rather threatening tone, "are you SURE this isn't your order!" I said yes, pretty certain. He turned and walked a few steps toward the building, turned around again, walked back up to me and said the following: "you know, it's against the rules for you to be standing there smoking a cigarette. You need to get in your car. There are kids inside there", pointing to the building, which was empty (possibly he was referring to him and his fellow employees, who were no doubt in the store busily ordering stock).

I'm 63, was sober as a lord, wearing a suit (I'm a musician, but a lot of folks take me for a Pastor) and in no way was I threatening anyone, or even speaking to anyone. There really was no one there save for some dude parked next to us waiting for his food (he probably ordered the cheeseburger and fries). Granted, I've struggled with smoking for the last several years, and I loathe cigarettes completely. "Maybe it's a new regulation, who knows" I said to myself, and got in the car, my girlfriend trying to calm me down. I didn't say much to the kid, but I was angry. Maybe 6-7 minutes later, a very nice young guy comes out and gives us our food. I asked him if there was a McDonalds rule that prohibited customers from smoking in the parking lot, and he said "no, feel free to smoke". I got the other kids name from him, and called the manager the next day to let her know, and she said she'd look in to it. I've never been treated like that before, and will not be returning to this particular franchise. No 1/4 star option unfortunately. Fries were cold and soggy too. I did not enjoy my "fast food" experience at this McDonald's...

Man if I could give less I WOULD. Ordered 2 number 6’s 20 bucks no big deal. Girl at the first window messed up and I correct her she charges me the right amount and I move on again NO BIG DEAL go to the first window they give me both drinks but only one sandwich no hash brown and it’s the wrong sandwich. I grab her attention and say “hey I ordered 2 sausage egg and cheese McGriddle meals” she says ok let me get the manager. Seems normal and fine. The manager comes up I tell her the same thing and she says “oh you ordered the wrong meal” I say “no she charged me 20 I ordered the right meal you guys gave me the wrong one” she said “I didn’t give you nothing” and then we are going back and forth she is trying to charge me again and this nice younger lady says “guys you guys have the girl in front of her the wrong bag oh my god let me just fix this” and she goes ahead to grab my stuff MEANWHILE the black short with pixie cut hair manager (if I knew her name I would put it) continues to argue with me about how “she didn’t hand me the bag” which obviously she didn’t but why does that matter? Then she says while pointing to the other taller black girl with the really pretty braids “we 2 different black people she tall im short” what the hell does race got to do with getting my food right now???? Then hands me my bag and the wrong receipt and says “have a good day” so I guess at least after implying that I’m racist because I’m white I at least got a...

Walked in and went straight to the counter. One worker was helping a customer and walked away after she was done w him seeing us there. Manager arguing with employee a few feet from behind the counter. Worker again came to counter to hand order out and walked away from us again. After another five min she came out and took our order asking if we wanted it for here or to go. The drink station was filthy and there were no straws. Came back to the counter and asked the same girl that waited on us she completely ignored us and walked away. Manager sitting at the table w another worker so I asked her for a straw and she said they’re by the drinks and walked away. The other worker was still there and said she would get them. She got straws which we stood there and waited for and instead of handing us straws she walked right by us putting them at the drink station. I choose not to us the self order because they’re not regularly wiped down, these had food debris on them. When we got our food everything was bagged up to go so I asked for a tray, disposal is easier that way. Ordered extra fries with one happy meal but got apples instead. Ordered bbq sauce with another happy meal but did not receive and the chicken nuggets were disgustingly dry like they were old. We won’t come back. You have been warned don’t...
