I visited the restaurant and ordered a number one (big mac) plain, and the cashier asked what size meal i wanted either medium or large, i replied medium. My partner ordered a double quarterpounder medium meal. And we waited for our food.
When i retrieved my order i noticed there was only one cup and one portion of fries on the tray, i thought this was odd and checked the receipt to find that my meal wasnt listed and was instead put through as only a burger... at this point I'd like to say that I understand there could of been confusion when i said i wanted my burger plain... but seeing as the cashier had asked me about meal size i should of been given a meal. When i went upto the counter to try and rectify this by purchasing a drink and fries separately....(because firstly i was not offered this for free) I was told that using my card for a second time so soon after my intial order, they could not process it and called it a 'security violation' and then gave me the cup so i could get my drink at least (no offer of fries). Returning to my table i find that my plain burger has cheese on it; so i had to have it re-made. Finally sitting down to eat my lunch on my break from work ( so you understand this is limited time im on!) i not only have a burger minus the fries i expect with my meal.. but i also have the worry of having to contact my bank in case they've cancelled my card or something!?!
I find this very perplexing as this 'security violation' policy is news to me and could surely mean less money for these guys, as it puts people off purchasing extra items after finishing their initial meal, and that cant be good for business!
Aswell as this, during our visit there was two gentlemen i can only presume to be corporate employees talking and pulling various members of staff over for a chat, distracting them from their job which at this time of day is far more important... especially seeing as customer service is the name of the game.
Furthermore; while enjoying the food we did have, another two customers had issues with items on their order (this wasnt 10mins after our issue). The first being a gentleman who had a dressing on his burger that he either didnt want or wasnt meant to be on his sandwich and had to get another. And secondly, a lady who had ordered a meal had to return to the counter because they had forgotten to give her a cup for her drink.
I'd also mention that on a previous visit we overheard a lady who had gone round the drive thru had to come instore because her iced coffee was put into a regular coffee cup. This may not seem like a big deal in the grand scheme of things but that lady might decide not to return because of it... and seeing as theres 6 other fast food outlets you'd think they'd be a bit...
Read moreI was at airport mcdonalds at 11:09pm today and ordered 2 small fries, 1 medium fry, 4 mcchickens (2 add cheese), a quarter pounder (plain with just cheese), a 10 piece nugget with bbq (bc they were out of sweet and sour sauce), and 2 cheese burgers. We went to pull away and started checking our food and we realized that the quarter pounder was not plain with just cheese-it had ketchup and mustard on it. We then decided to turn back (bc he is basically allergic to ketchup and mustard) to tell them they got it wrong and it was supposed to be plain with just cheese, that it even said it on the reciept. They then handed me another quarter pounder so i checked it to make sure it was plain, it was not plain AGAIN! So i then told them it was supposed to be plain with only cheese and she took it back and brang me another, that was , you guessed it- NOT plain AGAIn. Then she took it back and then the next one was right finally so we left. We got home and we were giving the food out and. ALL 4 mcchickens had NO CHICKEN on them. I then tried to call and no one would answer and there was no message machine. I called over and over and over with no answer. I then looked at the reciept and there was a name by "amy thomason" and her phone number and it said to call for any issues- so i did. The phone number belonged to a totally different person! Im am absolutely shocked at my services!!!!! Get it together!!!!!!!!
Update: contacted corporate, the owner then emailed us and we got our whole order again for free and it was all fresh and good! They even gave us an extra large...
Read morePlaced my order at 10:15 am waited got my order at 10:35 am ordered 2 egg macs larg coffee 6 Splenda and hashbrown. Got my order and on the egg macs where scrambled eggs. Took the order back into the store spoke to a lady in lite blue sweater who would Identify her self or even her position. She said she worked for McDonald's for 20 years I said well you should know better to give a person the wrong product and nit what they paid for. She said she just got back from break lie as I watched her on the hashbrown station since I placed my order as she was making a big deal out of having to cook hashbrowns. Then she gave me a refund of 10 dollars and change when my order was 12 dollars and some change. So it seems a Is franchise owner can make up there own product and go against McDonald's Corporate policy by the way is in violation of McDonald's franchise policy and they could have there franchise agreement pulled under there contract. With giving out a wrong product that a customer pays for what else is the owner having there staff do. As customer we do not need to put up with bad customer service and products from any company and its time they understand that we are no longer dealing with poor service...
