Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Blaine

I'm sharing this due to its comedic value. I visited the Chick-fil-A location in Blaine and received a sandwich that had been overcooked, prompting me to ask for a refund. I suggested a gift card, for the sandwich, in the mail…apparently they don’t do that. I wasn’t driving back. The amusing aspect is that the representative repeatedly assured me that I would receive a credit refund within a few days. I struggled to convey that I had paid in cash, despite his access to the receipt. 2 phone calls, 3 different employees and 4 emails later. I feel compelled to respond and observe how long it would take for them to comprehend the situation and that cash won’t magically appear in my purse after a few days. And the email for an additional spicy chicken sandwich that he mentions in the email...

I was really disappointed with my experience. I showed up around 9:20 PM to redeem the Timberwolves free chicken sandwich deal. The lobby was closed, so I waited nearly 15 minutes in the long drive-thru line, only to be told (quite rudely) that the deal ended at 9 PM.

I totally understood that it had expired—I just asked politely if they could honor it since I had already waited. The employee, who claimed to be a manager named Tim Johnson, dismissed me abruptly and said they “had to worry about their finances.”

I’ve been to Chick-fil-A hundreds of times and have never experienced service like this. It wasn’t about the sandwich—it was about how I was treated. Very disappointing and not at all what I’ve come to expect from...

We use to love coming to this location.. However.. I guess you do NOT want to go in afternoons as it's FULL of teenagers that aren't even eating there.. actually filling McDonalds cups with water from hand washing station and eating things out of their backpacks.. they were blocking path to the bathrooms, sitting on counter in the hand washing area and even in the little high chairs.. horrible language..I only mentioned to cashier they might want to check bathroom area.. was told they can't do anything about them because they don't want to get sued!?? Guess they don't want paying...
