Rip off. My boyfriend and I bought a $100 game from here...today. We couldn't even play it for 5 whole minutes because the game would automatically shut off on its own. We tried playing the game again 5 times after the first shut off and it kept shutting off in different random times. I understand that theres no refunds but its never ok to sell a "good conditioned game by testing it to see if it works within 10 minutes." Riiiiiiight. When it already wasn't in the first place and the guy that works there knew that! We dont appreciate his terrible customer service by lying and sounding seriously rude by barking at us that the disk was in good condition, even with little "markings" on them BEFORE he sold it to us! We're not satisfied and I personally left the store completely outraged. Plus we felt he was already annoyed with us to begin with when were simply explaining what happened. And when I asked him 3 different times in three different ways but for some reason, he still didn't "understand the question." I asked if we go home and if its still not working or if it goes back to being a black screen, can we being it back?" He answered with annoyance "Oh, if you bring it back and it still doesn't work, its on you!!!" It was almost like he yelled at us. So cocky and very unprofessional. So its ok to sell bad conditioned high priced games to people and we had nothing to do with the damages beforehand and we can't get our refund??? We felt we weren't even heard and treated with lack of care. It was obvious that the employee was all about making a sale, even if its in a bad condition and felt pressured that it was in good condition. Talked to us in a certain routine like he was programmed to say what he was told to say instead of of taking care of customers with...
Read moreFirst off, the staff here are pleasant, and knowledgeable about video games. also they had a fair collection of games and systems.
But the prices were like twice the standard value on what you can purchase on Ebay. Pokemon Yellow was going for $40, Super Mario world going for $30, these prices are astronomical. I want to support local business, but this is kinda price gouging.
was offered $2 for solar striker (good label) and $10 for a grape game boy color. Looking down I see hes selling various other game boy colors staring at $50 and climbing from there. decided not to do business there.
On the plus side, sales attendant was knowledgeable about refurbishing disks and disk damage in general. They do offer disk repair, but each disk was between $3-5, and after noticing these price discrepancy I decided to shop around and see if I can find a better-priced game repair service.
Would not recommend due solely to pricing and trade in value. Its far more expensive then Game stop, which is...
Read moreI've been to this store a hand full of times and always had a great experience. On this particular occasion, last Thursday around 8:42 my boyfriend and daughter and I arrived to look for a game for a few minutes. Upon entering they alerted (loudly) that they would be closing at 9. We acknowledged and continued to browse maybe another 4 minutes, (whislt they conversed loudly about going home, what they were bringing home, etc) where the female employee behind the desk basically began to raise her voice and exclaim that they really wanted to leave because they had been there 13 hours. At that point I was done wanting to spend any of my money there and I happened to mention that she was providing terrible customer service and she actually yelled back at me. I felt threatened. Who has a yelling match with their customers? So disappointed. Not going back until we speak with...
