New China — Restaurant in Blaine

I can totally understand how busy any Chinese takeout place might be on Christmas but... Placed an online order at 5:15 pm. Once the order was completed it indicated the order would be ready for pickup at 5:42. Arrived at exactly that time to find at least 20 people waiting inside. They were quick to take my money but that was the last time you will see me use the word quick in this review. As more people arrived the less you saw of anyone leaving with food. Watched the same DoorDash delivery person come and go 3 times without food. After another 30 minutes of waiting and a request for an estimated time to expect food, never got an answer. After ANOTHER 30 minutes I demanded an answer to find out how much longer I was expected to wait. Again that person disappeared behind the curtain finally returning about 10 minutes later saying 2 minutes. After yet another wait of 10 minutes my food was finally presented to me with barely an apology and no offer to compensate for the grossly underestimated promise of food in less than 30 minutes. On top of it all, the food was bland. Lemon chicken sauce and the sweet and sour sauce was totally savory with no sweetness to it. The Mongolian chicken was also just savory with little flavor. $70 later and extremely dissatisfied, I will not return and highly recommend anyone thinking of trying this place,...

I’ve been a customer since they first opened in Blaine, I normally order 2-4 servings of regular chow main but for the first time I just ordered one got home and as I got out of my vehicle the liquid from the chow main spilled all over my shirt, shorts and shoes and dripped all the way into my home. Here they had put the container standing on end and it all leaked out into the paper bag and onto my clothes I called the store and they basically said it was my fault that I was supposed to hold the bag sideways, I said why wasn’t I told this as I had no idea how it was packed! I held the bag upright like you normally would carry a paper bag, Needless to say they never offered an apology, refund or another order but just said next time we’ll inform you to hold the bag sideways! Whatever!! If something can leak it should be put in a plastic bag like they normally do for larger orders.

Follow up After soaking my clothes over 4 hours and washing them they have permanent stains and are no good!...

We used to enjoy the food here but something changed a few months back. I was regularly getting the Szechuan beef, kung pao chicken, or Mongolian beef and enjoyed all of them. On one of our last few orders the Szechuan beef came with mostly broccoli. I figured it was a mix up and I got broccoli beef. The next time the same thing happened. So then I got the Mongolian beef and it was normal. The next visit I ordered the kung pao chicken, it came with jalapenos in it and didn't taste right. Our next visit everything spicy came with jalapenos and just didn't taste right again. Mexican/Asian cuisine? We used to enjoy a lot of different items here, but after being disappointed the last 5 visits we drive twice as far when we want...
