I visited The Storytell Cafe on a whim. I needed to pick my partner up after work in the area, and something called me to find a little coffee shop nearby and work from there until the time came. I searched on Google Maps and was immediately drawn to the Storyteller, despite it being a bit further away than I had hoped.
I have been working here at Storyteller for a few hours now, a delicious cup of coffee in hand, and I couldn't be happier with the decision.
I knew nothing about this cafe until I got here, and upon walking in, the kind and inviting welcome I received made it clear there was more to this place than meets the eye. I have since learned that, not only is Storyteller a cozy coffee shop with great vibes and friendly staff, it is also a non-profit dedicated to raising awareness about and fighting sex trafficking. The cafe itself is warm, welcoming, and filled with great energy. There are a number of cute and meaningful items for sale around the shop, plenty of seating, and even a stage that appears intended for performances/open mics.
The coffee was great, flavorful and well-brewed. I haven't had any food yet, though I hope to come back and try it (I will provide a photo update when I do).
I highly recommend stopping by to check this place out. At a time when we are all so divided, there is a lot of good that can arise from coming together and acknowledging the passionate work others are doing on...

I absolutely love everything about Storyteller Cafe. Their mission speaks to my heart, and you can feel the care behind it in every detail—from the kind people to the peaceful, uncluttered space. The inside is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with a calm atmosphere that makes it easy to breathe and just be.
They even have a cozy little play area tucked away for the kiddos, which is such a thoughtful touch for parents. Free water, light breakfast and lunch bites, and plenty of parking if you just make sure to pull around to the back—what more could you ask for?
It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger, connect, and come back...
Read moreMy first time visiting Storyteller Cafe was fantastic! Friendly staff and AMAZING drinks. I got a dark chocolate mocha, my daughter got a chai latte, and we shared a butterfly pea flower iced tea with honey and lemon. All three were perfectly made and absolutely delicious! 🤤 The environment is definitely "aging strip mall" on the outside, and it's hard to find the cafe unless you drive around to figure out where the front door is, then it's obvious. Inside the cafe the space is quite large so it doesn't have a "cozy" feel, but it's nicely decorated, clean, bright, and welcoming inside. Loved the visit and will absolutely be returning...
