Taco Bell — Restaurant in Bloom Township

The food is actually good, which is the only reason I gave two stars. Seriously, the slowest service imaginable. And I don't mind waiting a few extra minutes for fresh food, but this place is just ridiculous. I say this after visiting this location 5 times. I didn't want to write a bad review based on just one experience, so I figured I would give them a few more tries. The first 4 times I went through the drive-thru. Even when I was the only one in line or late at night, I waited at the window for my order for wayyyy longer than you should be waiting for "fast food". Then after waiting forever, when I asked for mild sauce, the guy said he would have to go to the back to get some more, so I just said never mind.

So last time, I figured I would go inside to place my order. Big mistake smh! I felt like they were ignoring my order and filling all the drive through orders first. Then at the end when my order should have been ready, they realized there were no more caramel apple empanadas, because they had been giving them to all the drive thru orders, when I had been standing there waiting for almost 20 minutes. So then I had to wait 8 more minutes for them to make those.

Overall, I consider over 20 minutes excessive for a few tacos and empanadas. It's not like I ordered anything special or complicated. I don't get it, and It really shouldn't take that long to put together a few tacos. And I've been to plenty of other Taco Bell locations, and I've NEVER had to wait nearly as long as I've waited at this one. My sister also said that she hates going here because of how slow they are, and they've messed up her order more than once. I know students at the college across the street who won't even go here on their breaks, because they're afraid the long wait times will make them late for their classes. They just go across to the McDonald's instead. I won't be back, unless the service...

Guh, absolutely terrible food/service for expensive this slop cost. Let me tell ya, this nothing but poor service in fast foods in Chicago Heights, but this Taco Bell is the only one I would go out of my way to tell not to go. Take my latest experience for example.

Drive through and order my #1 Regular, mountain dew no ice. Alls fine. Order my gordita crunch and chicken quesadilla. Small stall. (Oh god tell me it’s not another new guy) Yo, I said a gordita crunch and a quesadilla. Puts in the quesedilla, skips the crunch. I’m at my limit, I’m gonna pass out. Homie, do you have nacho fries? I’ll take ‘em. Puts in the nacho fries. Pay my food and ask for mild sauce. I put in hotsauce. I want mild sauce. We’re out of mild sauce. My nyguh what the actual f you mean you’re out of mild sauce. There should be more of that than hot and diablo combined. Just give me the dam bag.

Come home and check my food. 4 tacos(one for consolation, I guess), my fries, and my quesadilla. Honestly, would’ve been chill at this point…if it wasn’t crap. The tacos are flavorless and already sog through the shells. I can tell the fries were lifeless. And the quesadilla was dry as hell. Like barely any of that quesadilla sauce inside. Only ate half. Sick of this.

For the record, this service isn’t new, but this was enough to get me to right a review about. God I hate getting fast food...

It’s sad when you realized you already left a bad review for this buisness and it’s still no changes happening . I went on a Friday around 1 am my food was amazing thanks to the African American girl working late drive thru that Thursday going into Friday morning . Friday evening comes since my food was so neat and fresh prior I went back asked for light meat on my tacos because I’m pregnant and incase the did make it sloppy at least I would be able to get a few bites in . Instead they made my taco fuller & it was nothing like the one I asked for when the other girl took my order. This Mexican lady had an attitude and today I go back again hoping someone else would be there no same girl . She doesn’t even wait to see if I had all my condiments, she walks away not wanting to be bothered , also laughed when my card declined . She needs much help on her customer service . She clearly thinks she is cute and too good to give good service every experience w her is...
