Burrito Station — Restaurant in Bloom Township

I have been a couple of times and the food is decent. I ordered a taco dinner and a chimachanga dinner tonight. I asked for no tomatoes on the tacos and they all had tomatoes. The menu stated the chimachanga dinner's price as 7.95. When I arrived to pick up my order the young man at the counter rang it up as 19.75. I asked him why was it that price if the taco dinner was 8.50 and the chimachanga was 7.95. He said the chimichanga price was for the chimachanga only.....even though it was on the dinner menu....and he couldn't credit it because it had already been rung up. A young lady came up to the register and said they hadn't changed the price on the menu yet and there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to the manager...there wasn't one on duty and they didn't know where he was. I will never go there again...customer service is truly bad and that's false advertising to have one price printed and charge another. Who knows how many customers have been overcharged by not paying attention to their receipts or if they send someone in to pick up and order without knowing the...

Reviewing burrito station is like reviewing an old friend that I like. I started going to this place 30 some years ago, I'm not normally in Illinois but today I was and I went out of my way to get a steak burrito, and it does not disappoint. This tastes the same as it did when I first fell in love with this place. The restaurant is clean and it's got really neat decorative tables with pictures on them, but it could be a dirt floor and I would still love this place. I don't normally get the hot salsa I get the same salsa that they put on the chips to put on my burrito it's delicious that way. If I was going to be critical of anything when I used to go here the burrito cost $6.99 and now it's up to 12 bucks, but that is not their fault burritos across the board cost that now. But it does remind me of how old I am because I sound like a grumpy old man back in my day things only cost this much. I used to absolutely LOVE this restaurant. A true staple if you’re from the area…. To say I was disappointed with my visit today is a LIE. I am DISGUSTED. DIRTY atmosphere. Tables, chairs, floors, countertops everything greasy and disgusting. I chose to dine-in on my lunch break and my steak burrito with “extra steak” was soggy and after looking at my receipt (because why my burrito dinner was $23.67 is beyond me) I spoke with the manager who advised there was a $7 up charge for the extra steak. SEVEN. I was also charged a “miscellaneous tax” and I have no idea what this is either. But I was on my lunch break and needed to leave…. All in all, I understand food cost. I’ve worked in this industry for 11 years. This isn’t just a health hazard, it’s a fraud hazard. Check your receipts. I will absolutely not return and will tell everyone I know to do the same....
