Called for delivery order and ended up speaking with a man who was barely audible and kept me on the phone for 12 minutes, repeated saying, "hold on." Delivery took 35 minutes for a 2 mile distance. Part of my order was missing. The delivery person suggested he was going to bring the missing item back. 30 minutes later I called to inquire about the rest of my order. Neither the inaudible man or his manager knew anything about it. I had to give all my information again and was told my item would be delivered right away. Another 15 minutes later, I called again to cancel this supposed "correction" because I was tired of holding my breath and requested my money back instead. I'm eagerly awaiting the return of my money to my account but suspect I'll get stuck dealing with it tomorrow, and the next day, and maybe the next. Totally unhappy. UPDATE ANOTHER HALF HOUR LATER, MY ITEM WAS DELIVERED! I HAD TO BREAK THE NEWS TO THIS POOR GUY THAT I CANCELLED IT AND SENT HIM AWAY. Now I REALLY have my doubts that my money will be returned to my card without my having to call and call and call. What a mess. Read moreI picked up a quick dinner for a couple of people late last week - Thursday or Friday. Service was quick and the order was ready because I did it online but I have to say it was the worst sandwich I think I’ve ever gotten from JJ’s. My daughter worked at a different JJ’s for years and I know what and how a sandwich is supposed to be made and this wasn’t it. It’s usually nearly bulging with vegetables, but not this time. I also paid for extra guacamole paste-there was hardly any on there. I always ask that my sandwiches be cut in half - not a big deal but it’s something that I prefer. I always ask for napkins as well, and occasionally I’ll order a pickle or chips. This time I ordered two bags of chips and only received a bag for one person and not the other. I know it sounds petty, but this isn’t the first time. If there was a different JJ’s on my way home, I’d use that one instead. I saw other reviews and thought I’d put in my 2 cents, too. First we had to speak into the mic for someone to notice we were there, next we tried placing the order & going through everything we wanted and the cashier told us she ain’t got time to go through all the items we wanted and tried rushing us through our order. She then yelled at us for asking about what kind of mustard they have. I’ve never had someone get angry and yell at us when we’ve been nothing but polite. My husband told her thank you but we’re gonna cancel our order. She was a Manager. I gave 3 stars instead of 1 because it wouldn’t be far because of one individual.
