Buyers Beware, spent over $4000 on a king size Purple 4 mattress only to experience the worst back and neck pain Iâve ever had while sleeping. This mattress was sold to me by the staff knowing both me and my spouse are side sleepers, after calling Purple Customer service I was informed that the 4 mattress is not recommended for side sleepers and is the reason for the back and neck pain. Mattress Firms customer service is absolutely terrible. The are refusing to exchange the mattress or do anything to help our situation, weâve had the mattress for 8 months and our problems have become worse with time so now we are stuck with making payments on a $4,000 mattress only to wake up every morning in pain and dread sleeping on the mattress. For someone who has knowledge on mattresses for â10 yearsâ we were sold a mattress based on what we were told all the way down to the way we sleep. We purchased a purple mattress level 4 over $4,000 only to find out after many chiropractor visits and massages the one we purchased is not made for the way we sleep. We bought the fancy $100 Tempur-pedic pillows a piece and the special $100 sheets only to be so disappointed. When I opened and removed the mattress from the box, I found out it was a king mattress. I called the next day and explained my situation. It took two and a half weeks to get an answer on how they were going to solve the issue. The simple solution of picking up the king mattress and shipping me a queen mattress, which should have been done day 1. During those two and a half weeks, I had a king size mattress I had to walk around in my studio apartment. I asked a couple of different times to have someone pick it up and get it out, but that never happened. I do not understand why it took two and a half weeks to implement a simple solution as this. I was told it was due to corporate policy and Nectar not responding. To me it seems like the policy should be get the incorrect mattress out of the home and get the mattress that was ordered to the home as quick as possible. Then the two companies deal with the return policy while your customer is happily sleeping in their new bed.
