I waited a very long time before posting this and even debated not posting it at all, I was giving them time to fix their mistake as I believe everyone deserves an opportunity to make things right. But this restaurant is one of the most unprofessional and disorganized places I’ve ever been to. I had my son’s baptism luncheon there back in May. I had to call and go to the restaurant multiple times—like 6 or 7 times— to finalize the date and menu. And by finalize I mean repeat myself, clarify the date each time (as every time I spoke about it I was received with “we don’t have you down for an event on that date”), and request pricing for the menu options I had chosen multiple times. I brought in a printed list to make things easier, which somehow got lost because apparently the original person I spoke to was no longer in charge of events (yet still worked there) and I was now dealing with a new person. Then the day of the event arrived. I was told I could arrive at a certain hour of the morning and that staff would be available to assist me in bringing in the cake. I let myself in the restaurant and had to go to the back to get someone to help me hold the door open, and they had no idea why I was there or what time my event was for. I didn’t have time to go into detail at that point and was so annoyed I chose not to. Then the actual event: the staff had no idea who was hosting the event, they found out by asking all of my guests who was in charge of the bill. They also never offered any soft drinks (to be included with the food) to any of my guests, told anyone that the food was out and ready, and there was no table for the desserts to be put on (this was previously discussed as they knew a cake was being brought in as well). At the end of the event when it came time to pay, the numbers were totally and completely different than what had been discussed multiple times. The “event manager” wasn’t there that day—after assuring me she would be there—and the wait staff said they couldn’t get ahold of her. Frustrated and tired I just paid and moved on. I called later on that week to speak with the woman who I had been dealing with, explained my frustration, and requested to have the majority of my gratuity returned to me: $155.87. She agreed and was apologetic for my experience. I gave my cc number and was told it would be some business days before I received the money. I NEVER RECEIVED IT. Multiple calls went unreturned so I just gave up. But beware when dealing with this restaurant, they have no idea what they’re doing and I have not been back since, wish is a shame because the food is good, but that experience left a sour taste...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem in Bloomfield!
I had an unforgettable dining experience at Sarah’s On Park in Bloomfield, and I can’t recommend it enough. From start to finish, everything was top-notch.
We started with the chicken and eggplant parm — both dishes were absolutely delicious, with perfectly balanced sauces and generous portions. The lobster ravioli was rich and flavorful, and the Pasta Al Mare Cajun Alfredo with blackened chicken had just the right kick of spice. Every bite felt like comfort food with a gourmet twist.
The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the manager, Jay, went out of his way to make us feel welcome — you can tell they genuinely care about the guest experience. And shoutout to Dani, who crafted some of the best cocktails I’ve had in a long time — balanced, creative, and strong in all the right ways!
The dessert was the perfect ending: the carrot cake was moist, flavorful, and just the right level of sweet. The drink selection is also impressive, with a wide range of wines and alcoholic beverages that pair beautifully with the food.
To top it off, the live jazz music added such a classy, relaxing vibe, and I love that they also host comedy nights — it makes Sarah’s not just a great restaurant, but a fun night out.
Whether you’re coming for the food, drinks, music, or all of the above, Sarah’s On Park is a standout in the Bloomfield dining scene. I’ll absolutely be back — next time with even...

I made a reservation for a certain time, I arrived at the restaurant 7 minutes before my reservation. Upon entrance there were 3 other patrons ahead of me.(social distance was difficult to maintain) The restaurant was severely underestimated. The owner Paul was the running the front of house AND going back & forth to get each guests takeout order. I was not greeted. After 20 minutes of just standing there; the owner asked aloud “ everyone here is for take out rite?” I told him “no” then we were seated. No apologies for the wait. Once seated I had to ask for the table to be cleaned because there was leftover crumbs & rings marks on the table. The person who gave me a menu never introduced themselves. I ordered 2 appetizers (will go into detail under each photo) & 2 entrees. The plate presentation was horrific. Simply put the food was lackluster. When I ordered my drink with another person & her disposition was borderline rude. After I decided to leave I had to wait by the kitchen door & ask for to go containers & my check. I’m empathetic to the fact that it was a “busier than normal day” but in my opinion; Elizabeth’s was severely understaffed for this day. If the service was better; this would have translated to my meal. Bad service turns me off completely. I did not enjoy my dining experience at...
