Ocean State Plaza — Local services in Bloomfield

A run down, dreary shell of its former self. I remember back in the day when this plaza opened anew with a Stop & Shop as their anchore, and I was too young to realize how close that grocery chain compares to a hot, steaming pile of horse apples. There's a Chinese restaurant in there somewhere, but u believe that there's good reason I don't go there. I was likely dissatisfied or disappointed with what they either had for, or were charging for, lunch.

One good thing is that because this is such a failure of a commercial plaza, there is always plenty of parking. Oh so much parking. Way too...

MI LOVE this store Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL). About 2 months ago I noticed that the quality of both women and mens' clothing at the entrance is better than ever. They have a lot more designer clothing at OSJL, the quality is much better, but the prices are still low. Also, on my last visit I needed soil and cedar mulch. I went in looking for lawn bug killer since it's tick season. My German Shepherd will appreciate that. While walking through the store I found a large assortment of dog supplies (toys, bones, collars, dog treats for all size dogs).

I found house supplies and cleaning solutions at fair prices too.

Only thing I don't like about this and other Job Lot stores is the poor lighting; looks...
