Turtle's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Bloomfield

The food has been surprisingly good/great, however this for me does not substitute customer service. On two occasions I have ordered for pickup and and was given a window of 25 minutes. When I arrive 15 minted from placing order expecting to wait a little both times, both cooks were outside the store on their cellphones. Upon going in store, the gentleman inside was also doing the same. If they had started my order, this would be a non issue, but in both occasions. The order was not even started. One time was ok, and I still waited for them to start order right then and then, but experiencing this a second time was the last time I have or will go there. Both times, there were no apologies and felt it was more important to view videos in their cells phones while customers are at their mercy. Pizza tastes really good. And I mean, REALLY GOOD. Took off 1 star because the staff there isn’t the friendliest. I once went in there with my lady friend, and handed a $100 bill for a pizza because that’s all I had. The guy asks “Is it real?” And proceeds to check. No man, it’s fake. I just walk around with fake money in my pocket... Oh, and who can forget the time when I ordered over the phone for delivery. After 2 hours, I called and asked what the status was on my delivery. The guy goes on and says “You said pick up.” He was pretty rude too. “I said delivery.” I responded. And he said “No, you didn’t say delivery.” Instead of arguing, I just said “Ok fine. Sorry about that.” And then he hung up. And they took jalapeño poppers off the menu. What’s up with that? So yeah, the staff was never really friendly. 5/5 Stars – Best Pizza in Town!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. From the moment we walked in, the smell of fresh dough and melted cheese hit us like a warm, cheesy hug. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and the service was quick even though the place was busy.

Now onto the star of the show: the pizza. Absolute perfection. The crust was crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. Taste

We also got garlic knots on the side (highly recommend!), and the house-made marinara was so good we ended up dipping everything in it.
