As a junior, I was really excited for the new dining options this semester, especially with Wright Quad opening and Bookmarket Eatery having different stuff. It's safe to say that I am severely disappointed. Wright Quad? A forest clone. Same exact "restaurants" like The Slice and Spice Road. The only difference I see is the breakfast one that is open until 2 pm. And it's dine in only in a large, very loud dining hall. Now for Bookmarket. I'd heard they were getting smoothies and all kinds of stuff. I went there and couldn't find the person that used to ring up your to go container. So I walked around until I found someone at one of the many new places to ring you up. She explained to me that Bookmarket is no longer all you can eat and it's now another meal scan combo place like the stuff at the IMU. a scam if you ask me, 2 chicken tenders and a weak scattering of cold fries is not worth the $2,000 I pay per semester for this meal plan. I ate at King's Hawaiian and got the chicken tenders, literally disgusting. This school making it to where there are hardly any all you can eat places is just another way for them to make money without caring about how it effects the students. Read moreIU dining has come a long way in the past 2 years. The new meal plan is easy to use with lots of amazing options in the dining halls. The cost per meal is less than $8 for students on the plan. Try the Mediterranean Gyro bar in Read Hall it is legit. They also added hand breaded chicken tenders in the Library this year along with a stir fry option and a brand new MYO salad bar.
