The evening starting with the 12x12x12 pothole in the parking lot. Then they said that it was going to be about a 50-55 minute wait. To be expected on a Friday night, not a big deal. The nightmare wasn't until we got our table. I needed to start with a water to take something for the headache that was created by the pothole in the parking lot. Our waitress (Christina R.) was nice, but I really didn't want to sit there listening to her complain about the potholes where she lives and how the city doesn't take care of their residents. We finally ordered our food and drinks which wasn't her fault. We just hadn't been there in a long time and didn't know what we wanted. Where things went really wrong is when she didn't bring the 1 drink that I ordered, the food was cold, lobster was over cooked, and she said that she was going to bring more biscuits. Never got the biscuits or my drink. We were done eating and wanted our check. She only had 3 other tables. All our plates were piled at the end of the table so it was obvious that we were done eating. After seeing that she was avoiding any eye contact, I spoke with the hostess to let her know what was going on. All I wanted is our check so I could pay it. What I got was a kerfuffle with Christina. She made the scene in the bar / dining room. Raising her voice AT me. "I admit I forgot your drink, but I'm doing the best I can!" I told her that I don't want this argument with you. I just want the check and leave. As I'm signing she walked away, but not without saying her peace. "I HOPE YOUR HEADACHE IS BETTER!" With her negative tone and waving her hands in the air, I could see all the eyes in that room looking at what was going on. I have been a server with a lot more tables... 3 is NOT that much to handle. Never take your eyes off the room. No one was stepping in to take care of the real issue. I can't express enough how disappointing it was to pay that kind of money and get that kind of service. It takes a lifetime to build a reputation, but it takes seconds to destroy everything you have worked...
Read moreI've waited a while to post this review but we have to share the awful experience we had here. A couple months ago, we made a to-go order from this Red Lobster. We showed up at the designated time and the food wasn't ready. My husband was inside waiting for it and I was in the car with our crying baby.
In a rush to get back to us after the food was finally done, my husband grabbed the food and left. He had forgotten to pay. On the way home about 15 minutes away, we got a call from a horrid woman named Kristin or something like it saying she was the manager. This miserable human being threatened to call the cops on my husband, who has never broken a law in his life!
We get extremely stressed and asks if he can drop us off before he returns, because our baby was so upset. This woman continued to accost him. He drops us off and he gets another call from a young man telling us that he was sorry for the previous caller and the food was on the house.
THEN, 10 minutes later we get a call from the miserable woman who then told my husband that she was about the call the police like a lunatic!! He explained the other call he got and she refused to believe it.
He is stressed and jumps in the car to return. Once there, this cowardly woman doesn't show her face. He speaks to a different manager who tells us that she is a "manager in training" and did not have the authority to treat us that way. He still pays for the meal with a promise for a call from the GM.
The next he gets a call from Courtney, who apologizes and assures us that she will send a gift card, which months later we never got.
Please avoid this location like the plague. My poor husband's food was completely cold when he returned from this debacle and he had lost his appetite anyway. It's extremely poorly managed and not worth...
Read moreWas excited to experience the Monday Special "Endless Shrimp". Unfortunately, we had the worst service experience we've had in quite a while. Our server was apparently the bartender, and had other tables around the restaurant. At least we think he was a bartender...as he spent a great deal of time at the bar, joking and talking to patrons there. Waited 15 minutes to even get acknowledged even though the place was empty. Waited another 20 minutes to order. Food finally came another 20 minutes later, and 2 of the people I was with finished their food before the waiter showed up again. No check to see how the food was or anything. I asked to place another order for shrimp...again I was PAYING to have the "Endless Shrimp." The food delivered about another 20 minutes later. The waitress from the section next to us could tell that we were upset and not receiving good service. She stopped by to ask us if there was anything we needed and if she could help us. I told her I was waiting for my Shrimp order. The waiter returned after seeing that this waitress was talking to us. He announced that he had checked on the Shrimp, but it wasn't ready yet. How? The restaurant was empty and it doesn't take 20 minutes to cook shrimp. So disappointed in the whole experience. At that point we decided to skip dessert and another order of shrimp because we had no idea how long it would take us to get what we ordered. Our tip reflected the lack of timeliness and lack of even so much as an "I'm sorry you've been waiting." As a former server I almost always tip 20% and sometimes 25%. This is the first time I didn't argue with husband to leave more. It was ridiculous. Extremely inattentive. No apologies. Just hanging out at the bar which was also empty. We...
