The worst Indian food I’ve ever had, by landslide. I was looking forward to trying this spot for a little while now and being that it’s close proximity to my work, and the craving struck, I decided to have my lunch there around 11:30 today. Really big mistake. There are many different types of dishes I really enjoy when it comes to Indian cuisine but I decided to go with a common staple (in the US), Chicken Tikka. I’m aware that there’s different approaches to executing this dish, a more traditional way and an Americanized version, but this was neither. As described on the menu, a mild tomato cream sauce with the chicken that has been marinated in yogurt. Ok, that was a lie. The dish I was served was the saddest excuse of a $17 entree. Shocking to be quite honest. 4 tiny (extremely dry) pieces of chicken with huge chunks of white onion and green pepper that have been seasoned in some curry. No sauce, terrible flavor, dry, horrendous. The dal they served with it was the most flavorless dal I’ve ever had and the Nan was nothing to be desired. This was a really sad meal that clearly had zero intention or passion when being prepared. I was the only person there when I arrived, and I see why. It makes me sad having these kind of experiences at independent restaurants, because I always want to root for them, but when the product is this poor there’s just no excuse. The service was essentially non existent, the server never asking how anything was or refilling the water. Even when I was initially sat, I explained to him that I’m really excited to have an Indian restaurant so close to work and that it was my first time coming here.. he could have cared less. I certainly will never be returning. And please keep in mind, there is SO many great Indian spots in the Twin Cities, if you want something somewhat close to this area head to Tamarind in Edina,...

Tandoor's saag mutton is a succulent delight. The mutton, tender and flavorful, harmonizes perfectly with the creamy spinach sauce, making it a must-try.
The daal makhni, on the other hand, is a creamy dream. It's a bowl of pure comfort, with buttery lentils that melt in your mouth.
Now, the chicken 65 is a flavor explosion. Each crispy, well-seasoned piece of chicken is a spicy and tangy delight that keeps you coming back for more.
And let's not forget their biryani – it's a fragrant masterpiece. Whether you choose meat or vegetables, it's a symphony of perfectly cooked rice and aromatic spices that you won't want to miss out on. Tandoor is a true...
Read moreI only gave this place 3 stars, because this was my first time trying Indian Food, and I don't have another restaurant to compare it to. The setup is buffet style, which was good, because we were able to sample all of the options. Once you finish dining, you take your ticket and pay at the register. I thought that everything had good flavor and wasn't too spicy. The only thing that I would change, is for the staff to either post a notice or tell guests when they are seated, about picking up a fresh plate when returning to the buffet. I kind of figured that this was the case, but didn't want to dirty several plates, so I took my original plate with me. I was stopped by a lady, who instructed me that I needed to get a fresh plate. Even though she was nice about it, I still felt kind of scolded and embarrassed, for not knowing the culture of the restaurant. Nonetheless, I'll definitely return to...
