Took my dad here for Father’s Day. You have to be a member ($1 for lifetime membership) and you have to make reservations, though last month when my husband and I stopped by just to see what the deal was, we bought a membership on the spot and were able to eat without making reservations ahead of time.

We were so pleased with the taste and quality of the Thai food that we wanted to come as soon as possible to eat there again. We had ordered Pad Thai and Khao Soi on our first visit and both were very flavorful. Second time we went with my family we ordered a greater variety of dishes and each one was excellent. We got the Chicken Satay with Peanut sauce, papaya salad, Mee Krob, seafood curry, pineapple fried rice, Penang Mango & Prawns, Chicken Pad Zee Eeu (their spelling) Chicken Pad thai again and Thai iced tea. Having recently returned from a trip in Thailand, we are happy to report that the Thai food at Bloom’n Thai tastes quite authentic and spicy too.

We love that this place is a BYOB, white wine pairs nicely with Thai food. The food does take some time to come out, but is worth the wait. It feels like each dish is lovingly made from scratch.

My only wish is that the servers would smile more and make us feel more welcome. But the food is so good that we give them a pass for their imperfect customer service.

We will definitely be back to...

A "Private Dining Club" in Bloomsburg that will not disappoint with its extremely flavorful and authentic Thai offerings. I've sampled many of the dishes available here and don't think I've ever had anything I didn't like. One of my personal favorites are the golden bags, or as they are alternately called, "Hobo Sacks," which are a mix of vegetables wrapped up within a spring roll wrapper, tied with some kind of edible string, and then fried to perfection. They taste wonderful, and I just love ordering something called a Hobo Sack.

About the dining club business, I believe it has something to do with the configuration of their restroom, of which there is only one, making it ineligible for true legal restaurant status. But this is NO BIG DEAL. A lifetime membership to the Bloom'n Thai Phuket Club only costs $1.00. So don't worry about the members only thing. Just buy a membership, throw the card in your wallet, and be a member for life. No problem.

I'm also pretty sure that it's just one woman who is the chef and cooks for the whole restaurant, even when it's busy, so I tend to be forgiving of a bit of a wait time at this establishment. It's BYOB, so you can just sip on wine while you wait.

Update 10/22: Bloomn' Thai has reopened for dine in and it is just as delicious as ever. I hope this lovely establishment is in...

Arrived at opening time and my party of two was the first in the door. We immediately encountered an incredibly odd waiter who lacked any customer service. The place was dirty inside and out and was badly decorated. We ordered entrees and an appetizer before the other three parties who were now in the restaurant. My first clue that something was amiss was that a table that ordered after us was served first. Our appetizer finally came and then an excruciating long wait began. The appetizer was nothing special. After about 30 minutes I noticed they were handing a guy who just walked in a takeout order but they still hadn’t delivered our food. Then I realized another woman who came in after us who was sitting in an adjacent dining room and again they brought her takeout order before we were served. We were waiting for our meals for 60 minutes at this point. When we questioned them about our food they were dismissive and then brought one of the two entrees. As we waited an additional 10 minutes for the second entree we finally had enough. I had to actually call the restaurant to find the horrible waiter so we could pay and get out of this incredibly unprofessional and tacky dump of a restaurant. I wouldn’t really know what the food tastes like but who cares when customer service is this bad....

We walked in and there were only a couple people, one table eating and the rest waiting for their take out. I've had Thai food all over America and have no complaints about this place, the food, or the service. We had dumplings, cucumber salad, and numbers 28, 29, and 38. You have to ask for the level of spicy you want, but even without any...it's really good. It does take a little time for the dishes to come out, but that's because they're fresh.
