Stopped here with a group of 4 adults, 6 special needs kids, 2 babies, and 3 nuerotypical kids. Our group was not easy to say the least. Most of kids were under 8. There were 3 people on staff. 1 on break when we were there and we were stopping in inbetween hours on the road. I can honestly say the food and hospitality made this my go to spot if we ever travel that way again. Despite the almost 30 things ordered, they had it out to us faster than most sit down restaurants we go to, including the ones that want us out before we even get seated ). The staff was so genuine and so well tempered with our kids and the space we took up. When an item was forgotten, i mentioned it to them as we were cleaning up. It was one we ordered 5 times separately, across 4 tables, over the course of almost 2 hours), they went back checked tickets and cameras. And called us back in as we were getting into our cars and gave it to us. So within 10 minutes they corrected it and gave us our missing item. The serving sizes were all very generous compared to where I come from. By that I mean, we payed 12-14 for what would cost almost 20 where we are from. Their bathroom was clean and well stocked, which is always nice. And lastly the food was so good we shared even what we weren't planning to. Hence why we ordered the same thing 5 seperate times lol. If I had to say the type of vibe it was was like quaint nice little diner mixed with a bit of Truck stop energy. It was nice and as I said I'd definitely go again if the opportunity arose. I wish there were more places like this...
Read moreUpdate: Today we tried Tiffany's again since the incident below, and I have absolutely no complaints. I got an order of cheese fries that did not disappoint. My son loved them. Hopefully the food will continue to be this good in the future.
Original: 1/5 stars- Honestly I have ordered from Tiffany's many times and loved it. I have never been disappointed, until now. A simple order, fries and two sides of cheese. My husband goes to pick it up and comes home with fries that were black, and soggy with cheese already on them. My husband asks for replacement fries because they were disgusting, and not even how we ordered them. Then he gets there he is lectured on how thats how they always look and how the new fries will look the same. It's amazing that kids working at Knoebels can make fries that aren't burnt and they don't act this childish. I think the second order was worse than the first. My son loved their fries before but I couldn't feed him these. We had ordered them frequently and never had bad fries or service so I'm not sure what was going on. But it was completely unprofessional how it was handled. I will not be ordering again. My favorite part of this whole interaction was him blaming the potatoes for how bad the fries were, "we don't grow the taters." Somehow that was supposed to make us accept the quailty? Soo that means you choose to buy and serve gross black potatoes? I'm glad I spent $8 and just got 2 little...
Read moreWe stopped by the shop and ordered food to go. While waiting, I just stood there observing. Young gal proceeded to make my chicken salad sandwich on multi grain bread. She placed it in a box and then to clean up and walked with the remaining bread to return it to its place. Then she turned around a showed the bread still in the wrapper to another lady. The looked it over and she young gal checked my sandwich in the box, picked up the bread in the wrapper and threw it in the garbage can. I knew exactly what the conversation and her actions were all about - MOLD. The gal then left. I waited the for order to be finished, then called a young man over. I shared my suspicions with him. The fryer guy came over and checked the bread. I asked if I could have the package and found spots of mold on the bread in the wrapper. I told him I did not want the sandwich that was made from that bread. He got another loaf and I asked if it was ok. He told me the date on the fresh loaf - Dec. 1 and today’s date is Dec 5. The original loaf was dated Nov 27 - 9 days ago. Very shabby choice to knowingly pass a sandwich off to a customer with mold in...
