Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Bluffton

I selected delivery for my order and after an hour of no updates I called the store to see why it was not delivered. The woman at the store said I selected carry out which I did not. She said it was “my fault” and that she wouldn’t deliver. When I got to the store I had to wait 10 minutes for the person to come to the counter. When I showed her my email that clearly showed I asked for delivery she said it was not her fault and that I made a mistake. I paid for a delivery charge and the woman at the store was zero help and full of attitude. I ordered from the store on 10 Discovery Dr off of Buckwalter in Bluffton SC. My family and I often order a Large cheese pizza from this location since Little Caesars in our areas hasn’t been up to park lately. However this time it was different. My husband and I caught food poisoning from our pizza. The pizza was the only thing we ate and we most certainly paid for it the following day all day. We had massive stomach cramps, diarrhea and had to vomit a couple of times. Who would ever think that you could catch food poisoning from pizza. I’m guessing the cheese or dough must of played a part in it. My family will not be eating from any Pizza Hut location or eating out at all after this traumatizing situation. Never again. Paid $50 for one pizza and a cookie, delivery was an estimated time for 25-35 minutes and it never showed. And I gave a 20% tip ahead of time, on my card. Called the store to ask what was going on and was told “the order is going back out” and then she hung up on me. I physically went to the store for a refund and they pulled my food out, it had been sitting there for 2 hrs at this point. It never left to be delivered.
