On March 17th, I was discriminated against at Seven sports bar & grill. A fellow BBW & I went to get something to eat & was told we couldn’t come inside by the security (with a bald head & hazel eyes) with black fur slides on & or sandals on. *Mind you, The both of us have been to Seven multiple times & have worn these same shoes a multitude of times with no issues. We then turned around. As we were talking in the parking lot we noticed a group of 4 small frame women walking inside. 2 had on slides with no backs & another had on thong flip flops 🩴. I stopped them and let them know that they may not be allowed in with their shoes. They attempted to get in and the same security guard allowed the skinny women in with no problems. At that point, my friend drove up front & asked why we couldn’t get in & were told it was bc we didn’t have backs to our shoes. However, we witnessed a total of 5 slender women allowed inside who had no backs on their shoes. Their website has no dress code posted. The food is pretty good but I don’t care for their grilled chicken. It taste funny. I also don’t care for the nachos either. The lobster tail, salmon & Alfredo are the best thing on the menu. Thursday is Kareoke with DJ Tru. Now My issue may not be the establishment as a whole, however the security guard was definitely selective with who he chose to...

I genuinely try to support Black-owned businesses because I believe in the importance of circulating our dollars within the community. Unfortunately, my first visit to this spot—while meant to celebrate a family member’s birthday—was a letdown.
Service was noticeably slow, and it felt like basic hospitality was missing. I had to ask for a beer five times before it finally arrived. My food came out cold, and when I asked for a to-go plate, I was pointed to another customer's plate left on the table. We never actually received one.
There was also no clear communication about what was in the food, which is important for people with dietary restrictions or allergies. As I am allergic to onions and peppers. It just seemed like a lot of unnecessary confusion and lack of care.
Despite the experience, I still left a tip for the young lady serving us—not because the service deserved it, but because I respect the hustle and know many servers are doing their best under tough conditions.
But truthfully, it was my first time there and it’ll likely be my last. I believe we, as a community, can and must do better. We work too hard to be met with cold food and colder attitudes.
I say all this not to tear anyone down, but in hopes that feedback like this inspires some real change. We deserve...
Read moreWent here with my daughter and son for my birthday. Waitress did not introduce herself and acted as though we were bothering her by sitting in her section. When she took our food order she didn't ask us for our drink order. Once my daughter called it out to me, we had to flag her down to take our drink order. I ordered the grilled pork chops with broccoli and macaroni. Daughter had grilled shrimp with asparagus and red potatoes. My son ordered the salmon rice bowl with no mushrooms and onion. My daughter and I food came out first. While we were eating my son's food was still missing. It took ten minutes after our food arrived to get his food. While waiting for his food our waitress never checked on him or gave him an update on his food. When his food arrived he cut into the salmon and it was still raw in the middle. I asked for the manager and after waiting ten more minutes she comes out telling us that salmon is prepared medium well and that it's normal. We did not ask for his salmon to be medium well done nor have we ever visited another restaurant and ordered salmon and found it cooked any other way other than well done. No apology for making him wait on his food or the salmon. We will not be returning! Also silverware is plastic and only real silverware provided...
