I ordered online about a month ago. I ordered something that wasnāt available. I didnāt get a call to have a replacement. I left my money at home. My order was halfway ready due to one of my plates not being available. The cashier allowed me to pick whatever. I picked something 10 dollars over. First I didnāt like the owner attitude with the cashier or her husband (the wife). And I didnāt like what she said about the future owners next door. Saying she hope the lady donāt get the nail salon bc she wants it to have a diner. When she could use the driveway area for that and congratulate the lady for becoming a business owner. Back to review. They both (cashier and husband) allowed me to have the replacement order with no problem. She was yelling and ranting about the difference. However I could have went back up there to pay the difference but get in the car and realize my side order which is 5 dollars was missing so technically I owe her 5 more at this point. But with her attitude and those Glory Collard Greens, I wonāt be returning back! And she can cancel that 5 dollars along with her attitude. Honestly she need to stay in the back or home. I saw the drive was almost 30 minutes so l said since itās Easter Sunday l just know they gonna show out. I hate having to do this cause as a black woman that supports black own businesses. After calling the restaurant to place my order over the phone and not receiving an answer. I ended up just driving to the restaurant and placing an order inside. The young lady was the only person there and what appeared to possibly be only one cook. Once I placed my order, I had to return about 20 minutes later to pick up the food I ordered. On the outside of the establishment it appeared to need a deep cleaning from bugs and other outside elements. I ordered the shrimp and grits, the seafood platter add fried shrimp, with sides as seafood Mac and cheese and yams. I also ordered the brisket baked potato. The shrimp and grits were delicious and even the grits were seasoned well. The brisket potato was delicious and the flounder and fried shrimp were pretty good.
